• chapter 11 •

daniel and seulgi are both hiding under the blanket right after jonghyun warned them. what kind of danger is after them? they are not sure.

"i'm worried about jonghyun and yerim. will they be fine?" seulgi whispered, trying to not make any noise.

"i hope they will be fine. i trust jonghyun hyung, he will give his everything to take care of yerim."

"right." seulgi sighs in relief. at least, yerim have jonghyun with her. it was a relief that yerim brought jonghyun along with her when she met jungkook earlier.

they froze when they heard the door bell rings. seulgi reached out for daniel's hand before squeezing it tight out of panic.

weirdly, the door bell only ring once, and that is surely not jonghyun. so who would it be?

noticing how seulgi is shaking so bad, daniel wrapped his arms around her petite figure before pulling her closer. he then gently stroked her long, straight hair, trying to calm her down.

"we will be alright." he whispered before kissing her temple, in hopes that she would get less scared.

just then, daniel's phone that was lying on the nightstand beside him buzzed. it turns out that it was yerim who texted him.

we have arrived! please open the door..

daniel showed the message to seulgi, who sighs in relief before getting up from the bed. they both rushed towards the door before opening it.

"jonghyun hyung!"

"yerim!"

they were delighted to see both jonghyun and yerim standing in front of the door, both looking alright, although they seems a little anxious.

"are you both alright?" seulgi questions, noticing how their pupils are shaking.

"look down."

both daniel and seulgi almost had a heart attack when they saw a slaughtered bird, with full of blood, being placed in a box that was opened.

beside the poor bird, there was a paper, and the words on it were written out of blood.
