Danielle comes back to the table with Liam, but no dessert. I wonder if they were eavesdropping at all...

Niall goes red and sinks into the booth after seeing that they might have been listening in our conversation. He then stands up and lightly pushes me out of the way while a tear runs down his fragile cheek.

I reach out and grab his arm as he tries to go to the bathrooms.

"Niall, what's the problem?" I ask sweetly. "I don't know if I can take everyone knowing that I like you. I mean I know I make it obvious, but still. It just seems different...".

He then grasps himself from my grip and tries to go into the male bathroom without anyone noticing him.

Liam then jumps up and starts after Niall.

"Mate, come back!" Liam tries to yell quietly so no one would notice him.

The life of popstars.

I slide down into Niall's spot in the booth, which is right next to the wall.

Danielle also slides over on her side so she is facing me.

"I'm sorry about that." Danielle apologizes. "I didn't mean to drag you out here. I didn't mean for it to get like this..." Danielle ends with a sigh.

"It's not your fault. I mean really. I had fun?" I whisper, head resting against the wall on my left.

"You must have a better version of fun to me." I smirk at Danielle's remark.

"So, do you really like him?" I knew she was going to ask sooner or later. I would've rathered later, but what am I going to do?

"You just had to ask, didn't you?" I ask. Danielle just slightly nods.

I take a deep breath before continuing.

"I'm not sure. I don't know if I blurted out that I like him because I felt sorry for him or if I really do like him. Ever since I met the boys, all I've really thought of them is of friends. Not really anything else..." I say to Danielle, eyes focused at my empty plate of food.

"Is that all you think of me Darcie?".

No no no no no... This can't be happening. The exact wrong moment for Niall to hear my conversation.

I look up at the upset boy and notice he has tried to clean himself up, but is now crying again.

What did I do to deserve this?

He is so innocent, so fragile, and I have almost destroyed him.

I didn't mean too... At all...

I sink into the booth as Liam and Niall walk out of the front entrance.

"Come on, let's go Darc." Danielle calls as she grabs her bag and leaves money on the table.

"Just leave me here to die." I reply.

And now I can feel tears falling down my face. Perfection.

"Come on, the restaurant will be closed soon.

I slowly stand up and pace to the front entrance. I walk into the medium sized car park and search for my oldish car.

I notice that Danielle's car has gone.

"Does either Niall or Liam have a license?" I ask softly.

"Oh my gosh... No...".

My eyes widen, and I glare at Danielle.

Hopefully they will get home safe. I don't need anything worse happening to me.

I drive Danielle and I back to the apartment, and when we get there it is about quarter to eleven.

The we searched the car park for Danielle's car, but had no luck.

"What if they crashed?" I whimper as I walk towards the elevator that takes us to our floor.

"Darcie, don't worry, they'll be fine, I promise."

"How can you promise that though? What is something bad does happen?"

"Darc, I'll text Liam and see if they are okay."

Danielle grasps her phone out of her handbag quickly and texts Liam, just before an elevator arrives to take us up.

As we walk into the elevator, the older couple that lives beneath Danielle and I, scowls at us.

I swear, if we drop a pin they would be all over us like a rash.

I then drag myself up to the front door, still anxiously waiting for Niall.

I walk up to my pale purple room and wait patiently for some reaction.

*Slam*

Just as I get to my room? Nice, boys.
