(y/n)'s POV
I guess it's finally time to fight papyrus. I took in a shaky breath and stepped further into the fog. After a few steps papyrus noticed me and waited for me to walk over. He was polite as always but knowing that he was about to kill me made me a bit distracted to say the least. He said some stuff about me getting captured or whatever but to be honest I wasn't paying attention seeing as I was literally about to die if I messed this up.
My (s/c) soul was pulled out of my chest and I was in the battlefield. Sharp red bones flew everywhere and surrounded my soul, slicing into it before I could even move. I lost 7 health points on the first attack alone. Papyrus is fast with his attacks so I have to be sure to dodge faster. I kept sparing him through the whole battle with him getting increasingly madder with every time I refused to fight.
I dodged my way through the many attacks and only had 3 hp left and I hoped that there were only a couple attacks left. He was about to do his special attack when a little fluffy dog jumped from out of nowhere and stole the bone he was holding. Instead he decided to use what he called "A really cool regular attack." That attack was just a bunch of jumping over bones and I was glad there wasn't much dodging because it was getting hard to move because of all my cuts.
That was the last attack in the battle and I sighed in relief as I spared papyrus one final time. He tried to play it off by saying that I was too weak and that it would be unfair to keep attacking me. I chuckled and trotted over to papyrus and he bent down so we were at eye level. I caught him completely off guard by wrapping my arms around his neck, hugging him. Papyrus stiffened up and pulled me off him with one hand and dropped me in the snow. I quickly got up as papyrus walked away and I wondered if i should start talking to people. i headed back to snowdin to think about things.
