Winter
It's the best.
It's also my favorite season.
NOT.Why does it have to be so cold? (At least where I live) I'm so jealous of places who's "Winter" is like 50 degrees (Fahrenheit) and up, like WHAT THE HECK! How's that possible? (Not literally because I know that) That's not winter. Winter means COLD WEATHER to me and last time I checked, 50 isn't cold. I looked up the average winter weather in Australia and it's 59 degrees Fahrenheit.
59 degrees. That's so warm compared to our winter! The average here in January is 21 degrees. I'd consider moving to Australia but I heard they have lots of poisonous spiders and stuff there, so I've changed my mind. I hate spiders with a strong passion. Don't even get me started on them. But anyways, back to Winter, I hate how snow can freeze and turn into ice. I've slipped on ice quite a few times, but there's one time that I specifically remember, probably because it was embarrassing.I was in idk what grade, maybe 5th? Possibly 4th? Who knows, clearly not me. It was a cold morning and I remember I was about to go outside to wait for the bus at my bus stop, when I saw the bus pulling up already. I ran to the bus so I wouldn't miss it and I remember slipping on some ice right in front of the bus, and I fell on my butt. There were a bunch of parents there and they were all like "Omg are you okay?" But I didn't have any time to answer any of them because I had already gotten up and gotten onto the bus. That was embarrassing haha. And it hurt.
I like snow, only on one condition though.
When it's untouched, so it looks really pretty and perfect.
Other than that, I pretty much hate/strongly dislike snow. It's annoying and cold.I just remembered that one of my teachers said that she was in Florida over winter break and the kids there started their winter break a week before ours, so they ended theirs a week before us but then they got a whole extra week off (so three weeks of no school) because it was "too cold". You wanna know what the weather was?
42 DEGREES!
It's like "oh no, how can we POSSIBLY survive weather that's under 61 degrees?"
^^ that's their average in Winter and what I imagine what all those Floridians were thinking.
My teacher said she laughed and was like "My students go out in 15 degree weather."
She's right.
