Chapter 13

"Hey Mac." Matt smiles at me.

I blink my eyes a couple times, "Hey." I smile.

"Makenna?"

"Can we talk?" asks Hayes.

I look at Matt waiting for a response. He just waves his hand at me and walks away. Hayes sits down on the couch in my room and looks at me. "What, what did you wanna talk about?" I ask.

"Well, I've just now realized that we're not close anymore."

I raise my eyebrows, "Well shit. It's been awhile."

I laugh and he just looks away.

"Hayes? You're literally just now after like a month of us not talking, then you say you just now realized we don't talk."

I continue, "you stopped talking to me. Never answered me, because your girlfriend. Did you think this whole time, I was still in love with you?"

"I'm sorry, and no, I just... Thought you were like obsessed... never mind."

"You thought I was obsessed with you?" I am in amazement by him actually thinking that.

"Well, yeah." He nods.

"Not even close. Just upset." I mumble.

"Okay, all you boys are seriously getting to my head. I'm gonna take a break." I say, standing up.

I walked over to my dresser stuffing every article of clothing I owned in my suit case. I packed up everything and was out the door.

"Hey Cam, I'm gonna go home for a little okay?" I tell him.

All the boys look up and looked shocked. "Why?" Cameron asks.

"All you boys are just getting to my head, like I told Hayes, and I need a break."

"Oh... Okay. What about a plane ticket?" He says.

"I'll get one, but bye. I love you." I give him a big hug. "Bye guys." I smile and walk out the hotel saying bye to everyone.

Well, that was a quick exit.

On the plane

*Ding Ding*

Shawn- Hey

*Ding Ding*

Hayes- Sorry I made you leave.

*Ding Ding*

Nash- Wish you wouldn't have left, who am I supposed to be a sarcastic ass to and pick on?

*Ding Ding*

Taylor- Hey bae haven't talked to you in awhile, just found out you left.

"Everyone please turn your devices off, as we are taking off."

I do so, and just ignore their texts, trying to sleep on the way home to Chino Hills.

"MAKENNA!" My best friend screams as I exit the plane into the airport.

I laugh, lay my luggage down and run to her. I haven't seen her in forever, and was really starting to miss her. "ARIANA!" I yell as I'm running to hug her.

"I missed you so much!" She says squeezing me.

"I missed you too! Thanks for picking me up also."

"No problem, so why did you come home? Magcon isn't even over, is it?" she asks.

"Well, long story short, stress."

"Um, since you have decided completely ignore me this whole year, how about I catch up on your drama, like normal best friends?" Ari says.

"I suppose. What do you want to know?"

She thinks for a couple seconds, "Well, I heard about Shawn. Start with him?"

"Long story. Okay, so I wanted to get to know him from the beginning. So I did, he told me he loved me and stuff, we cuddled every night, ect. Some bitch came to stay with us, was Matt's best friend. Her name was um Carly? Oh, Callie. Yeah she said she was gonna take Shawn from me, then Shawn was telling me she was annoying, next day they've been hanging out all day. Told me he was gonna pick either of us, so I said no, I'm not being a second choice. They dated for a little, she left. Then he decided to take me back. Being the dumb girl I am, I let him. Then Halie came along. She seems nice, except she came to my room telling me to stay away from Shawn. I think they're still dating today, I don't know. I've seen her at the hotel like twice maybe? But yeah." I explain, wow. That's a lot.

"Holy shit. That boys got some hormones."

I nod, "Definitely, I may have left some stuff out."

"What happened to Hayes? He's really hot for a thirteen year old." She smirks.

"Oh, he's a goner." I raise my eyebrows.

"Dang." She smirks, yet again.

"Maybe when I go back, you can come. Considering you're hot and the boys will all fall in a trance from your looks." I nod.

"Highly doubt that!"

Back at Magcon, in hotel

"MAKENNA! MAKENNA! MAKENNA! And some hot girl?" Nash yells down the hall as were rolling in our luggage.

"Shield your self!" I whisper as Nash comes running to us.

We could probably have a minute, considering how long the hall is, and well how slow he is.

"He will hug you too, wether he knows you or not, he's weird." I say as he reaches us.

He squeezes me as hard as he possibly could, then hugs Ari.

"Well, this is settled. Since I saw you guys first, and hugged you first, I'm the special one, as well as I get dibs on you." He points to Ariana.

Her face goes red and she just giggles.

"Um, Nash, this is Ariana." I say.

"Good to know. Well see ya later." Nash says throwing a peace sign as he goes back to his room.

"Well. That's Nash?" I laugh.

We roll are bags in where we see only Aaliyah. "Why is it only you?" I ask.

"Jenna and Mia didn't wanna come. I'm not gonna be here long anyway." She smiles. "Good to see you Mac, anyway and your friend?"

"This is Ariana." I gesture towards her. They wave at each other.

The door opens revealing Cameron. "Nash told me a secret! YOU'RE HERE! ARIANA! O-M-G!"

"Ariana!! I missed you so much!" He hugs her.

Cam and Ari used to be like best friends also, when she hung out with me everyday.

"Oooh! I GOT DIBS!" Gilinsky yells about Ari.

"ALREADY CALLED IT, BITCH!" Nash yells back.
