ELENA'S POV
"Stefan?" I asked nervously. "Stefan." I said again. He looked blank. No emotion. Nothing. Just nothing. "I just chose him, him over Damon. I kissed you. Something? Anything?" I thought this in my head loud and clear. Apparently not to in my head because Damon looked at me with this glare and told me to keep my thoughts in my head. "Sorry. I was thinking out loud. What's wrong with Stefan?" I asked, trying to soothe Damon, who was kind of mad at me. "Oh Elena, so innocent, so un corrupted, well guess what? You make him go through hell! You are what's wrong with him! So why don't you get out of here!" Damon said as he flashed his fangs and his eyes got crinkled underneath when he feels the blood pulsing. I didn't want to seem stupid but it was hard to try and hold back my tears. "I- I'm sorry Damon." I said between soft sniffles. "No Elena, you aren't. If you were you would be gone. God dammit Elena, don't you see what you are doing? You are so stupid Katherine!" I looked at him with shock then I just started bawling. I couldn't keep it in anymore. "No Elena, I meant Elena!" Said Damon, but I was too upset to listen. Stefan had heard everything from inside. He had gone into his room once Damon started telling at me. I didn't even realise he had gone into his house. Stefan came outside and hugged me tight. He gently brushed my hair back with his hand and kissed my forehead. "I love you Stefan." I said gently. "I love you too." he said back. "Do you?" I questioned. "Do you really? I mean c'mon, I make your and Damon's life a living hell." Stefan looked surprised and a bit hurt. "Elena, I love you no matter what. This 'living hell' you think you make me live in is more like a 'living heaven.' I love you and I always will." Stefan's words felt good. They always make me feel better. I hugged his and gave him a passionate kiss. he opened his door and pulled me inside, still while we were kissing. he used his "vampire speed" to race us up the stairs, we barely even noticed Rebekah sitting on the couch. Barely. Stefan locked me in his room and came up behind Rebekah. He tapped her on the shoulder like a gentleman. He looked down at his feet, not his lip, and looked back up at her with his smouldering look. "What are you doing here?" he asked calmly. "Oh I'm just checking up on you and sweet, memory less Elena." said Rebekah with attitude. "Ha. Yes, you see, Bonnie got her memory back." Stefan said charmingly. He was holding the white oak dagger behind his back waiting for Rebekah to charge. "You did what?" Rebekah yelled fiercely then charged at Stefan. He pulled the dagger out and stabbed her in the heart. She turned grey and wrinkled quite fast. "Don't try to do any 'funny business' with Elena again. Okay? Okay. Bye Rebekah." Stefan said with a boyish charm.
