Today wasn't any better. I just kept on think about what your mom said. "It's a family thing." Are we not family?
I just wish we could change her mind.
I read the signature book from your funeral. I read what uncle Jeff said. It made me cry, hard. Like how you were his "daisy" because Karen was the flower girl in his wedding. As you went up there and held dads hand. And to save him a dance in heaven. That's what got to me. "Save me a dance in heaven."
I hope you save him one. Save me one, too. And I hope you save dad one, too. I think he needs it the most.
Save all of us one.
