Hello! Guess what? Update!!! It's summer now! I will be going to Maine from June 9 to 16 I think so no updates then...I also have a lot of summer assignments for school but fuck it for now. I knew I needed to update this since it's been so long. I also need to update my other stories. Whatever...

When we got home for the day Braden immediantly went to his room and locked the door behind him. He was clearly upset about our shit day. I'm not going to lie, I was too. It was horrible. The kids got progressively worse since the last time we had been there. But I knew Braden thought of it as even worse.
"Hi honey, how was school?" Mom asked.
"Do you want the honest truth or the lie?" I asked.
"Um..."
"The lie is what every kid tells their parents when they come home. 'It was good mommy.' But you want the truth? It was complete shit!"
My mom gave me a look of pure annoyance.
"Look Hallie, school was great before Braden came along."
"You know that isn't true. Monica was always a bitch."
"You never talked about Monica before."
"Look mom, I'm sick of this! Whenever something shit happens to this family the first person you blame it on is Braden! Why do you hate him so much?"
"Okay Hallie, you are being a little unfair here. Before he came into this family you were never out late and I was never worried about your safety. Now this boy has dragged us all over the place, including across the country. Don't you think it's fair for me to be acting this way?"
"Actually no mom. Expecially how you were acting last night. You didn't even care about what dad said to him. It was completely unsensitive towards his feelings and since when has bullying not mattered?!"
"Do we need to get you therapy too? Because that can be arrranged."
I could not believe this woman!
"Look," I said. "All you asked was how my day was. You have my answer, now can you leave me alone?"
When she didn't reply I went to my room. I didn't want to bother Braden and I didn't want to see her or dad at the moment. Braden needed some alone time and I needed time to cool off.
I sat in my room for a while, just doing nothing. Then I did my homework, which wasn't all that hard since it was the first day of school and there really wasn't much that I had to do.
After a while I decided to call Dyllan.
"Hey Hallie, I miss you!" He said.
I almost cried at the sounnd of his voice. I would kill for it to be summer again, when my parents didn't care what we did with Dyllan or how late we stayed out. It was especially fun when we went to California.
"Dyllan, how have you been?" I said.
"I've been okay. School is kind of shit. Makena's hair turned green though thanks to your shampoo trick so that was pretty awesome to see for the first day.
I laughed, but I was starting to cry. I just don't even know anymore...
"Hey, Hallie are you crying?"
"Um..."
"What's wrong?" He asked, sounding defensive in a flash.
"I didn't even ask how Braden is. He's okay, right?"
