Is it so much to ask
To laugh with someone
Instead of seeing them
Laughing at me
Is it so much to ask
To have someone to talk to
To have someone that smiles
At the heart that I do have
Is it so much to ask
To have one person
Who brightens my day
And lets me free my heart
Is it really so much to ask
