Chapter 19: Thank you

Oliver's POV

"Ashley!" Matt yelled. Me, Curtis, Giselle, Matt and some police officers were looking for Ashley.

"brownie!" Giselle yelled.

"Ash!!!" I yelled. No response. Lee came running to us holding an envelope.

"Oliver!" Lee yelled. Lee gave me the letter.

"Here, I need to catch up to that man!" Lee said and left. I looked at the envelope and slowly opened it.

'Dear Oliver,

I am your biggest fan! I just love how you sing. And I love your personality. You know I come from a very wealthy family! Plus I'm really smart. So I am hoping we can be together! So I want you & I to get married. If you do not accept my offer, I promise you, your little lover will not see the sun or moon ever again!

P.S. Each day you do not come to my house. She will relieve a new injury. This is starting tomorrow.

I looked inside the envelope again and saw a picture of Ashley with her cheek cut. I turned it over and saw the fan's address.

"What happened?" Giselle asked and ran towards me.

"Look.." I said and gave her the picture. Giselle shook her head.

"Who did this?" She asked.

"A fan...." I said and looked away. I heard a soft cry.

"N-No, SHE CANT BE IN THIS SITUATION THIS MUST BE SOME SICK JOKE!" She yelled. I sighed.

"I'm going" I said and left before she got to say anything.

Ashley's POV

Sunlight was burning my eyes as I slowly opened them. I looked around the room. 'Oh it wasn't a dream.' I looked down at the ground.

"Every second, every minute, every hour, every day

It never ends, it never ends" I whispered. The door slowly opened. I looked up and saw a guy holding a tray of food. He smiled sweetly but my heart was so filled with fear.

"I'm sorry you're here" he said and grabbed the tray and set it by my side. I looked away.

"I can't do anything about it because my own sister won't listen" he said and grabbed a small fork.

"I want to go...." I whispered and looked at him. He weakly smiled and fed me some pancakes.

"I will do anything I can to help" he said

"T-Thank you" I said. He smiled and patted my head.

"So what's your name?" He asked and started untying the rope. I rubbed my wrists and looked at him.

"I-I'm ashley...." I whispered.

"I'm josh" he said and smiled.

"How old are you?" He asked and handed me a glass of water. I slowly grabbed it.

"I'm 23...." I said and started sipping the water. He smiled.

"I'm 21" he said.

"Well uh you look younger than you look" he said.

"Thanks" I said. He smiled and patted my head.

"Well I need to go Ashley, so I will come back later okay?" He said. I nodded. He smiled and grabbed his stuff and left.

"Thank you..." I whispered. I guess he didn't hear me.... I stood up and walked towards the window. The window was sealed shut but I can see the sun rise from here.

"Oliver....where are you?" I asked........
