Chapter 43: March 24th

"Aww" everyone said. Giselle walked inside and looked around. Dylan quickly put the ring back in his pocket.

"Why did everyone said aw" she asked and sat down.

"Dylan was day dreaming about you!!" I said. Dylan blushed. Giselle smiled and hugged him.

"Uh we should he going now" Dylan said and stood up.

"Yeah, so see you two later" Oliver said and smiled. They nodded and left. I glanced over Matt to see him with a trouble expression.

"What's wrong?" I asked and looked at Matt.

"I have a bad feeling about something" he said.

"Bad feeling?" I whispered.

Next Day ~

Ashley's POV

Everyone decorated the beach. It was 7:00 pm. The beach is sort of dark and the moon light was shining so bright. I smiled and it would be a perfect happy ending for my Giselle. Oliver hugged me from behind and smiled.

"I wished I was the one proposing here" he said and smiled. I laughed and shook my head.

"I'm glad you proposed in that hotel, I had lots of fun in Paris plus i lost my innocents over there" I said and blushed. He chuckled and held me closer.

"I love you" he said.

"I love you too" I said and kissed him. I felt his tongue sliding across my lower lip.

"Uh, no sex please" Matt said and smiled. Aylin laughed and sat down.

"This is going to be great" she said and looked at the roses all over the sand.

"Im going to clean this up later" Matt said and pouted. We laughed.

"Oliver you have to volunteer as tribute" I said. He pouted.

"Fine I volunteer as tribute" he said.

"Some hunger games shit going on" Aylin said.

"Oh my god, yes Oliver is Katniss and Matt is Peeta" I said. Aylin laughed. Oliver looked at Matt.

"I guess I have to kiss you so I won't die" he said and started doing kissing noises. I pouted and tackled Oliver.

"You're mine" I said and pouted. He laughed and touched my cheek.

"Of course my jealous brownie" he said and kissed me.

"Katniss...NOOO!" Matt yelled and pretended to cry. Aylin face palmed herself. I laughed and Oliver held me tighter. Then we heard noises.

"Shh" Aylin said and started hiding. We all went to our places.

"Dylan, the ocean is beautiful" Giselle said from the distance. I can see Dylan smile.

"Not as beautiful as you" he said and walked with her. They stopped by us. Dylan went on one knee and Giselle gasped.

"G-Giselle, we've been together since middle school, and we always wanted to be together forever no matter what" he said "I promise as long as I'm here, I'll make you happy even if it means giving up everything....I love you more than anything in this world, Giselle will you marry me?"

I could see Giselle in the verge of tears. I smiled. She went on her knees and kissed Dylan.

"Yes, YES ILL MARRY YOU" she said and hugged him so tight that they both fell. He chuckled and slid the ring into her finger. They stood up with their hands intertwined. We all got out from our hiding places and we smiled.

"SURPRISE!" We all yelled. Giselle looked around and smiled brightly. She started crying.

"I love you guys so much" she said and wiped her tears. I hugged her tightly and smiled. I pulled away and looked at Dylan. He eyes were focus on something.

"Ashley!" Oliver yelled. Dylan grabbed me and a gun shot was heard.

Dylan's POV

I saw someone with a gun from the distance. I tried figuring out who it was but it wasn't anyone I know. But I do know she was aiming at one of us. Oliver looked at me and followed my eyes to see the unknown female. She was aiming at Ashley. As she pulled the trigger...

"Ashley!!!" Oliver yelled. It's like time slowed down. I have to save her, my fake daughter, Giselle's friend, her friend since elementary she'll be lost without her. I ran to Ashley and held her. Then next thing I knew a gun shot was heard and there was this horrible pain in my lower back.

"Dylan!" Giselle yelled. I held Ashley tighter and smiled.

"I-I saved you Hija" I whispered and fell on my side. Everyone ran to me.

"Dylan you idiot !" Ashley said and looked at me. Giselle looked at me.

"Happy birthday " I said since I didn't say it earlier. She shook her head.

"DYLAN!" She yelled and hugged me. I flinched because of the pain. I watched as Oliver called for the ambulance and cops. Aylin & Matt ran after that unknown person.

"Why did you do it?" Ashley asked me. I smiled and touched her cheek.

"Moms are always protecting their children" I said and chuckled a bit. Giselle looked at me and smiled a bit.

"Stupid" she whispered "still joking when you're in pain"

"Dylan...." Ashely said. I smiled and looked at Ashley again.

"If I don't make it, hope you have a great life with Oliver fudging Sykes" I said. Giselle shook her head .

"D-Don't say if, you'll make it" Giselle said and smiled. "You cant leave me"

I smiled touched her cheek. Ashley stood up and looked at us.

"I-I'll go check what's taking so long" she said and ran to Oliver's side. I looked at Giselle and gently rubbed my thumb against her lips.

"I love you" I said. She was in the verge of tears.

"I-I love you too" she said and kissed my forehead. I smiled and felt my eyelids slowly closing. Giselle shook her head furiously.

"N-No!" She yelled and placed my hand on her belly. I smiled and rubbed it slowly.

"W-What about our plans?" She asked and touched my cheek.

"G-Giselle" she cut me off.

"No, we were suppose to have a family together" she said. "Remember, Marcel & Mary, they were suppose to be our future kids"

"Y-You remember" I said and smiled. She started crying.

"Of course!" She cried. "Remember if we didn't have kids, we will live happily ever after as long as we are together!"

"I know..." I said.

"Y-You promised me, you'll stay with me for eternity " she whispered and pressed her forehead against mine. I smiled and kissed her nose. She sniffled a bit causing a tear to fall on me.

"But we both agreed if one of dies then the other has to be by their side until their life is gone" I said. She started crying more. I finally heard the ambulance. Someone picked me up and Giselle screamed. Oh no she's having a panic attack. They rushed me into the ambulance and Giselle ran by my side.

"Giselle..." I whispered. She touched my cheek and kissed me.

"Don't die" she said. They put the mask on me. Giselle sat there in the ambulance crying. I don't want her to cry. I slowly lifted up my hand and touched her cheek.

"Don't cry, you broke our promise" I whispered. She touched my hand and kissed it.

"You're getting cold" she said. I smiled and rubbed my thumb against her cheek.

"Sing to me" I said. She smiled and kissed my hand again.

"Anything for you" she said. "What song?"

"Hero.." I managed to say. She nodded.

"Our song....." She said. To be continued.
