A Pirate's Rose- Henry Turner

Chapter 7

"Redcoats!" Bella shouted, beginning to climb down the cargo hold. As much as she wished to kiss Henry, she more than ever needed to protect the ship.

"She's on the starboard." Barbossa calls, the frantic crew trying to save the Pearl. "We shall fight to the last. The pearl will not be taken from me again." Barbossa stated. As Bella helped load the guns she saw an explosion out of the corner of her eye. She turned her head to see the British ship exploding when the Silent Mary crushed it.

"Whatever happens, stay your course." Bella says to Carina. The Silent Mary came up beside the Pearl as Bella gripped her sword in her hands, preparing for battle. Bella caught a glimpse of Salazar, a grin on his face as he jumped onto the Pearl.

"Jack Sparrow? I've come with the Butcher's Bill." Salazar says.

"Defend yourselves men! To the dead!" Barbossa says, raising his sword. Bella begin to fight the ghost pirates, but they would never die.

"Let's be brave! Save the Pearl!" Gibbs shouts beginning to fight of the ghosts.

"This has to be it! It has to be here." Carina says turning the wheel. Bella stayed close to her friend.

"Sail that land. Oh me Lord's eye." Barbossa says.

"We're nearly there. It's here somewhere." Carina says trying to see where the island is. Bella continued to fight, losing her energy fast.

"Have you found what you were looking for yet, miss?" One of the crew members asks Carina.

"I'm trying! The stars will soon be gone." Carina says.

"Carina!" Bella shouted.

"Bella, Henry! Look!" Carina shouted pointing at an island in front of them. "The island is there!"

"You found it!" Bella shouted in happiness. All of a sudden, Salazar came up and jumped next to Carina trying to snatch the wheel from her.

"Carina!" Bella shouted running up the stairs to her friend, before the ship shudders and she falls backwards onto the railing. Salazar grabs Bella, and jumps onto the Silent Mary, preventing him from turning to dust.

"Henry! Carina!" Bella shouted in fright.

"Bella!" Henry and Carina shouted, trying to reach her. Salazar pinned her by the neck to the hull, forcing Henry to watch.

"No!" He yells. But it was useless, he couldn't save her. The ship began to turn away with Bella on it.

"They took Bella." Carina said moving down from the wheel.

"The trident be all that can save her now." Barbossa says, worried for the redhead.

"Then we have to find it." Carina says, taking out the diary. "Where is it? It has to be here." The astronomer flipped through her pages desperate to save Bella. The sun began to rise, as Carina watched with amazement. The rocks began to light up revealing the map no man can read.

"Look at it Jack. It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. This is what my father wanted to find." Carina says.

"The rocks?" Jack asked confused.

"No, no. Not rocks. Stars. This is the map no man can read. This island is a perfect reflection of the heavens." Carina says, taking it in. She notices 4 glowing red stars, forming the stars in the sky. Only one wasn't glowing.

"One stars missing, quickly. We have to find the trident to save Bella." She ushers, moving across the island with Jack and Henry. When the reach the non-glowing star, Carina looks at it in confusion.

"Why is it not glowing?" Carina asked. Hector holds up the missing ruby for her.

"Finish it, Carina." Hector says to his daughter.

"For my father." She says.

"Aye, do it for him." He says with a sad expression on his face. She places the ruby in and a ray of light shoots across, connecting with the other 4 stars, then their heads turn to see the ocean splitting into 2, then the ground beneath them splitting as well. Jack, Henry and Carina slide down, Hector still at the top. Carina, Henry, and Jack scream as they plummet down. They look around at the sea life that has been split around them.

"Look!" Carina says, looking at the cavern around them.

"Poseidon's Tomb." Jack says.

On the Silent Mary, Bella was tied up with a sword at her throat.

"Capitan, you know the danger. Don't do it!" The first mate says.

"He has no choice. Jack is on land going for the trident." Another counters.

"Capitan, there must be another way. Once you possess the living, there is no coming back. You will be trapped in her body, forever." The first mate says.

"The Trident will set me free. Time to kill a sparrow." Salazar grins before turning to Bella, her face now having cracks on it.

"No!" She yells, but it was no use. Salazar possessed her.
