"Hi welcome to Lexon Hill Hospital how can I assist you?" A lady asked as I walked up to the front desk.

"I'm here to visit Kayla Washington" I said and she did some typing on the computer.

"I'm sorry family only" she replied looking back up to me "I'm her step sister" I said and she nodded.

"She's in room 302" she replied handing me a visitors sticker.

I grabbed the sticker from the lady and placed it on my shirt as I walked towards the elevator. I hit the button and the elevator doors opened up, a few people stepped off then I stepped inside and pressed the the button for the 3rd floor. I hated being in hospitals it just wasn't my cup of tea everything about a hospital gives me the creeps and it always smells like old people. The elevator stopped once it got to the 3rd floor and the door opened again allowing me to get off.

"302" I mumbled to myself as I looked down the halls.

"Are you lost" I heard someone ask and I turned around seeing a nurse "I'm looking for room 302" I said and she looked down at her clipboard.

"You must be Destiny right?" She asked looking back up at me and I nodded.

"Kayla has been asking about you but follow me" she continued as she started walking down the hall.

"How she doing?" I asked not really caring.

"She's doing okay her jaw is wired shut and she needed a lot of stitches" she answered stopping in front of a room.

"Damn her jaw broke?" I asked raising my brow "yeah it is and she had to get stitches under her right and a couple more on the bridge of her nose" she answered.

"Damn well I'm gonna go talk to her" I said opening up the room door.

I walked into the room seeing Kayla all fucked up laying in the hospital bed. I just chuckled a little before shutting the door and pulling the blinds closed. Kayla's head darted towards me and a scared expression flashed across her face. I watched as she moaned and groaned trying to reach for the help button.

"Relax I just wanna talk" I said slowly making my way over to her.

"mmm" she hummed as tears started rolling down her checks.

"Shh just listen" I hushed gripping her face in my hands and she cried out in pain "I heard about the fight you and Chris had i see it was really bad" i continued.

"I'm only gonna ask you this once because i don't like repeating myself okay" I said looking down at her.

I gripped her face tighter and forcefully moved her head up and down in a nodding motion "your going to drop all the chargers against Chris or you'll have more than just a broken jaw when i'm done with you" I demanded as she whimpered.

"Do you understand?" I asked before laughing a little "oh wait you can't talk" I joked as i slapped her face.

More tears streamed down her face "follow my instructions and you'll be alright" was the last thing I said to her before leaving the room. I made my way back towards the elevator catching it just as a stud and a little girl started to get on.

"Hi" the little girl said and i looked down seeing her smiling up at me.

"Hi" I replied with a smile and the stud looked over at me "I'm sorry about her" she said referring to the little girl.

"Nah it's fine she's a cutie" I replied fanning it off.

"What's your name?" The little girl asked and the stud pulled on her arm.

"My name is Ace what about you cutie?" I asked and she giggled "I'm Jade and that's my auntie Dom" she answered pointing up at the stud.

I looked over at Dom and watched her use her hands to cover her face the embarrassment that shot across her face. I pulled out my wallet taking $5 out then the elevator doors opened and we all stepped out. I jogged over to the front desk picking up a pen and quickly writing down my phone number and name then jogged out the hospital trying to catch up to Dom and her niece.

"Jade" I called out and she turned to me with a smile as I jogged over to them.

"Can you do me a favor?" I asked as I kneeled down in front of her and I could feel Dom burning a hole into my face.

"Sure" She answered nodding excitedly "can you give this to your aunt?" I asked handing her the money and standing up making eye contact with Dom.

"Here you go Dom" Jade said holding the money out to her"text me sometime" I said flashing her a smile.

Dom nodded then took the money from Jade before turning around and walking away. definitely still got it' i said to myself as I made my way to my car where Blue and Chris were waiting with big ass grins on their face. I shook my head as I got in putting my seatbelt on and pulling out the parking lot daring not to make eye contact with either of them.

"She's dropping the charges against you Chris" I said breaking the silence and my phone buzzed.

"That's what's up I appreciate it" Chris said nodding.

"Who was that you were talking to?" Blue asked and I glanced up at her through the rear view mirror.

"Just some stud I met in the elevator" I answered as I looked back down at my phone "if you get us killed I'm beating yo ghost ass" Chris chimed in making me laugh.

"Then you drive nigga" I said pulling the car over.

"For real?" Chris asked shocked as I took my seat belt off.

"Yeah just don't fuck it up" I answered nodding before switching places with Chris.

"Damn who the fuck you texting?" Blue asked tapping my shoulder snapping me from my thoughts.

"No one important" I answered shaking my head and Chris laughed.

"Must be someone important cause you cheesing hard as fuck at yo phone" Chris chimed in and I smacked my lips.

"Let's go to City Of Doms tonight" I said ignoring her and they agreed.
