CHAPTER 17

|K'TAYA POV|

"I need you calm down okay? Let me call the doctor", the nurse put a hand on Tony's shoulder.

He was a foul mood right now, demanding to see Tara when I already told him that she's not here.

"K, please get Tara, I need to make sure she's okay". His voice crack a little bit.

"Just relax Tony, I already tried calling her she's unavailable". I calmly said.

"Call again". He demand.

Mind you now, this nigga can't move or eat solid food as yet but he could remember Tara.

"Boy, just relax". I said sternly.

"You don't understand". He shook his head.
 
He close his eyes and a tear roll down his face, I reach over and wipe his face.

"Ok mam, we'll have to put him sleep". The doctor came in the room with a needle in his hand.

Nodding my head I kiss Tony on his cheek and walk to the door where I watch the doctors put him asleep.

"Tell Tara I love her". He said as his eyelids begin to drop.

Smiling I made a mental note to do so.

I haven't seen nor talk to Sin but I decided to leave him alone. Since he didn't answer my calls I won't
beg a soul to be in my life.

Yes, I liked him and I might have wanted him but I don't need him.

Leaving the hospital I walk down to the bus stop.

I don't think I want it to be summer anymore.

|TARA POV|

Shit Shit Shittttttttttttt.

Breathe.

OK.

My legs hurt like he'll, I was kneeling under a table for five minutes but it seems like hours. Sin and a human by the name of Fred was checking out their newest weapons.

All I wanted to do is check if I still had legs because I couldn't feel them.

"This needs to be checked, is this the only one? I don't wanna make two trips". Sin voice sound as though it was coming closer.

"Yeah, just let Bair know. Later". I hear the Fred guy leaving.

Sin was doing something on the table I was under, suddenly a steel part drop, when he bend down to get it. I let out the breath I was holding.

"What the fuck?".

I didn't give him time to think I unfold my left leg and kick him in the face.

"You messed up Sin". I crawl from under the table.

"Tara? What are you doing here?" He ask as he try to regain his vision.

"What were you doing at Black Mason?" I said referring to my father's company.

"Working for your father". He sat up.

"Knowing our father's history you should've never". I walk behind him.

"None of this was meant to happen". He shrugged.

"Ohhh? So Dario ain't supposed to be dead eh? You fucking snake". I knee him in the back.

"Why didn't you just say something? Poor K'taya probably crying". I rise my voice up a notch.

"He's my father Tara I had no choice". He shook his head.

"True, well he's my father and I won't allow your bitch ass daddy to kill him". I angrily said.

Sin stood up and I glare at him, right when I was about to say something he reach for his gun. I beat him to it.

"We train together Sin, you have to be faster then that". I laughed.

"Why kill me if you need me for information?"

"Haha, Nahhh we have Samuel". I give him one bullet in his knee.

"I won't kill you Sin". I look around for something to bound his hands.

After finishing him up, I turn to leave.

"Please don't leave me".

"Are you begging?" I lift a brow.

"TARA". He call as I leave the room.

Now what was I doing?

|TONY POV|

"For the last time Tony eat this soup".  My mother glare at me.

"Okay okay, not to fast gon you choke me". She laughed and continued

My phone started ringing looking over at it I saw Tara was calling, I almost broke my fingers trying to accept it.

PHONE CONVERSATION
"Hello". I answered.
"Hi, what's up? She asked.
"Getting there, you"?
"I'm okay, K said you had to talk to me?"
"Yeah......why haven't I seen you?"
"Working". She kept it short.
"Well....I love you be safe out there."
"I lov- what the fuck...".
  The phone went dead.
END OF CONVERSATION

"Shit...she's in trouble". I mumbled.

"Who??...Tara?? What?? Call the police." K jump up.

"Sit ya ass down". I look over at her.

"Well what type of trouble is she in?" My mama ask.

"Feed me my soup ma". I ignore their questions.

Rolling her eyes she continue, while I was chewing I send a quick text to Blacks telling him to send back up.

Man this summer was all fuck up. Dario passed, K'taya got her ass beat, Sin is now my enemy, my ass almost ended up six feet.
