Chapter 19 gathering

"No" I hear Gally shout, I nearly miss the branch, but luckily I just manage to grab hold of it. I can't pull myself up through I can only hang there, and belive me my arms are aching. "Raylea" someone shouts, "Gally What's going on" someone else shouts. I feel my hands slipping "oh shuck" I feel myself falling, I let out a scream, and I crash to the floor. I feel the world around me go black. 

I wake up gasping for air, hang on I'm not in the glade, I'm in the maze. "What the hell am I doing here, hang on it's still night time, and that means Grievers" I turn in a circle taking in my surroundings, I don't know what part of the maze I'm in How am I going to get out. I run around the corner and see that nothing is there. 

I've been running for a long time, I suddenly hear a noise behind me, a noise that belongs to a griever. I turn around and see a griever at the end of the hallway. Oh shuck, it starts charging towards me, not this again. Hang on this time I still have energy. I hold my ground and move my hands into the air and then throw them to the side. The griever starts flouting and then slams into the wall. I think that knocked it out, or at least made it stop. I run away from the grievers body and try to find my way back the the glade. 

I've run into 3 grievers now, so I'm pretty tired now. Wait a minute is that the hallway to the glade, yes it is. I run up the hallway and lean onto the door that is not yet open. The sun is already rising so the doors should open soon.

Around 5 minuets later the doors slowly start to open, I stand up and run through the glade, as soon as I get through the door I collapse onto the floor. "Ray" Newt shouts, he sits next to me "where the hell where you" he asks "you had us all searching for you all night" Minho says "I-I who when, how, wait who" I stutter, how the hell did I end up in the maze. "Wait, Gally was chasing me, I climbed up a tall tree, he followed me, then I jumped onto another tree and slipped from the branch and fell. Then I blacked out, then I woke up in the maze, but not at the door hallway, I was in the middle of the maze. Then I got attacked by a griever, then I saw 3 more and then I was at the door." I say to myself, standing up and spinning around on my heel. "What, we need to get Alby and call a gathering" Newt says, Minho nods and runs to get Alby, all I care about is finding Gally, now. "Where the hell is Gally" I shout "I don't know, you need to take it easy" Newt says, holding me up so I don't fall. 

I look around the glade, Newt still holding me, hang on there's Gally and Louis, wait did Gally just point at me. Why the hell are they running, wait hang on I bet it was, oh they're going to pay. I break free of Newts arms and run after them, however I only get a few paces before I fall onto the because of exhaustion. "Are you okay Love" Newt says rushing to my side, "it was" was all I manage to say before I go unconscious.

"I have to admit I'm impressed" a lady said, she was wearing white clothes, she has blond hair and she looked about 50-60. "Who are you" I ask "I'm chancellor Ava Paige" that name sounded familiar. I don't know why. "Surviving a night in the maze once is a achievement, however you find that you need to show of and do it more than that" the woman said, she was clearly annoyed with the matter. "Well you know, I aim to please" I say smirking "we will win Dear, when he comes, your time is running short" she says before walking away. "Wait who's he" I shout after, but it's to late she's gone. 

§~~~~END OF THE DREAM~~~~§

I shot up gasping "where am I now" "your in the Homestead, in the glade" I hear someone say, I look over expecting to see Newt, oh my god it's Gally. I move away from him but fall out of the bed landing on the floor with a thud. "You okay there" he says "get away from me you slinthead" I shout huddling in a corner. Clint comes in, praise the gods "Gally I think you should leave" he says. I move my head to look at Gally but hit a cupboard "oh for shuck sake"

"Clint can I go" I moan "no you need to rest" "I'm have rested, I don't want to go to sleep, I hate sleeping, I want to go for a walk" "tuff" "fine if your going to be like that" I say, holding my head up high walking out. Didn't Newt say about  them having a gathering. I walk up to chuck maybe he knows where they are. "Hey chuck where are they having a gathering?" I ask. 

I'm hiding out side the door to where they are having the gathering. Chuck didn't know where they where having the gathering, I had to ask 5 people I didn't even know any of them. 

"So she was just in the maze" I hear Alby ask "yeah she was in the maze, she doesn't know how she got in there" Minho says, "yeah right that was probably just an excuse" Gally says oh he is so goninh to regret that. "How did she even get in the doors where shut when she went missing" Frypan asks, good question Fry. "Ask her she is the one who snuck in and then lied about not knowing how she got in there" Gally says again. That's it. I'm so going to regret doing this. I burst through the door. "Oh hi sorry am I interrupting something, no I don't think I am" I say "What the hell are you doing in here" Alby asks, of course I completely ignore him "You" I say pointing at Gally "and those slinthead friends of you, what the hell where you thinking, oh I know, she's running away from us let's follow her, watch her fall out of a tree trying to get away from us, oh dear she's unconscious best get rid of the evidence and hide her in the maze. I don't even want to know how you bloody did, most likely has something to do with those shuck creators that keep trying to kill me, WHY THE HELL DID YOU THROW ME IN THE BLOODY MAZE TO GET KILLED BY GRIEVERS, I NEARLY DID 4 SHUCKING TIMES" I yell "now thank you all for listening I'll be going" I say calmly walking out. 

I don't want to blow my own trumpet but I think I handled that very well. I'm going to my room, I don't want to be out in the open, to dangerous. 

I'm sitting on my bed drawing, for some reason unknown to me I decided to draw a griever, I've seen enough to remember what they look like. Louis bursts into the room. Shuck. I roll of the bed grab my bow and an arrow and aim it at him, "when will you just do as I want, either die, or be mine." He shouts "sorry neither of those things are on my life agenda, so you know if you could leave me alone that would be much appreciated" I say my arrow still aiming at him. "Ha, fancy yourself quite the comedian, don't you" "well you know" I say smirking. "That's it your annoying me" he says walking towards me. "Duck" Cluslirch says um what. I do as he says just in time to. A huge tree branch smashes through the wall right above me, nearly hitting Louis, unfortunately it didn't, it scares the klunk out of him though, he looked at me and then ran out of the room. I stay crouched on the floor still holding my head as the entire building was about to fall on me. 

Newt, Alby, Minho and Gally all charge into the room. They all share the same expression "it wasn't me I swear I did nothing, it nearly killed me it definitely wasn't me, I think it was protecting me from Louis I say" huddling in a corner. I'm scared, extremely scared, the place that we are meant to be safe in is more dangerous than the maze. Neat rushes to my side and hugs me, he rubs my arms "it's alright, Your safe now, I'm so sorry I wasn't hear babe" he says, babe, wow never called me that before, I have to admit I like it. 

I said I would fix the room, I actually already have. Because the room is wood seems I can control that as well so yeah great, I can make walls reappear, I've always wanted to do that. Newt has refused to leave my side. It's actually kind of sweet. "And you really just stormed into there and yelled at Gally and then you smashed a wall with a tree branch"Max asks while we are all eating dinner "yes, well the tree bit wasn't me but the rest was" I say playing with my food with a fork "it was awesome, and she just fixed the wall just like that" Minho says clicking his fingers for effect. "Um it wasn't that cool" I mutter "it was rather cool" Newt says, what, Newt found it cool, um okay wasn't expecting that, I scratch the back of my head in embarrassment.
