Chapter 23 Greenie

I ran into the middle of the glade, sat down and began to meditate, I find that it helps me think. "Hey girl" someone yells "really can't you see I'm doing something" I ask "the box is here" "oh okay then, thanks for letting me know Carl" I say standing up, he ran back to the box, I ran to a tree and climbed to a branch that stuck out so I could see. The greenie takes of into a run, looks like hes headed towards the doors. He seemed oddly familiar. Suddenly he trips on what I belive to be a rock. All the boys shout, and laugh, even Newt. It makes me happy seeing Newt smile, he doesn't do it often enough, none of them do... apart from Max.

The boys seems to be taking in his surroundings, most of the boys are leaving now. Maybe I should introduce myself. Hang on, he and Newt walk closer towards me and I can see his face clearer. It's Thomas. What How is he here, I try to move away, Wait I'm on a tree, oh god. I feel myself fall from the branch, I let out a scream and grab onto a thin branch. "Oh shuck shuck shuck" I say I feel the branch start to give way, man am I that heavy. Snap I let out another scream as I fall, hitting a few branches along the way. I land with a thud. "Ray" Newt shouts "are you alright love, can you get up" Newt asks, "I don't know," I say "why did you fall out of the tree" He asks. Thomas. Oh my god, I scramble up and look at Thomas with wide eyes. I feel my eyebrows furrow, man I must seem unfriendly. "He's the greenie" Newt says, probably sensing something is wrong, I raise an eyebrow, and walk away. 

How can he be here, How can he be here, why is he here, it doesn't make sense  I mean why would he be here, he works with WICKED. He put us here, he experimented on me. "What the hell was that about" Newt asks "shouldn't you be checking on Greenie" I ask coldly "what do you have against him?" Newt shouts, I feel my blood run cold, I can't tell him "nothing" I lie "Then why are you being like this?" Newt asks still yelling "HE DOESN'T DESERVE THIS" he adds "OH CAUSE YOU KNOW, NEWT YOU HAVE NO BLOODY CLUE WHO THIS SHANK IS, YET YOU DEFEND HIM, YOU THINK YOU KNOW SO MUCH, BUT YOU KNOW NOTHING COMPARED TO ME. IM THE ONE WHO GOT STUNG 4 BLOODY TIMES NEWT, AND IM ALSO THE PERSON WHOS BEEN HAVING MEMORIES COME TO HER PRACTICALLY EVERY NIGHT. YOU NEWT KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS BOY, nothing" I shout, Newt opens his mouth to talk but I walk away before he can say anything.

"Gally I need to talk to you, and no it's not about the kiss and he's i forgive you" I say walking up behind Gally, "Okay what is it" Gally asks "Do you recognise the Greenie?" I ask Gally eyes widen, I take that as a yes. He nods "Okay, thanks" I say running of. I assume Gally remembers him from the changing he went through. 

I need to be prepared for the Bonfire tomorrow, maybe I can stop myself being burnt. I walk into the forest. "CLUSLIRCH" I shout "I can hear, you don't need to shout" "Cluslirch is there a way I can stop myself being burnt tonight" I ask  "can wood stop its self from burning, that's your answer" great. 

"Raylea" Alby yells walking up to me "hey there Admiral Alby" I say, Alby glares at me "Sorry" I say looking at the floor "as I was going to say, I don't want the greenie to know about your powers, you got that" I nod, I understand where Alby is coming from actually. "What happened with you and Newt" Alby asks, I glare at him " I think you'll find it's none of your business" I say, storming into my room. 

I open the door, to see Newt and Minho "Get out" Minho yells "but it's my room as well" I say "GET OUT" Minho shouts "fine but don't expect to see me again" I say, slamming the door behind me. Hang on wait no. I charge back into the room "before I go, Minho SHUCK YOU, Yiu have no bloody clue what pain I've been through in this bloody prison, no one does apart from me, so how dare you think you can yell at me, you weren't there you don't understand, so how dare you yell at me, even Newt doesn't understand why I did that, so what makes you think you do" I shout, storming back out of the room, I don't even bother closing the door. 

I storm past the Med-Jacks, Bens been in there for a few days now. Apparently he got stung, pretty bad stuff the changing. I feel sorry for him. Only Alby, Newt, Minho and Me are allowed in there, as well as the Med-Jacks obviously.

"Can I Help you" Thomas asks as I storm through the doors "do you know the way out" I ask "no" he says "then no you can't help me" I say pushing last him. "Don't mind her she takes a bit of getting used to, she's really nice once you get to know her" I hear chuck say. Bless him, he's a good boy, apart from all tha pranks he pulls, although most of the time Me and Max help him.

So yeah, Ray and Newt have had there first epic fight, so have her and Minho, wow. Sorry it's a shorter chapter, I'm also sorry I didn't write a AN last chapter. Oops 😬 I hope your enjoying the story. Byeee Xx
