The death of Arrrgh is still on my mind, and it refuses to let go. That's why I have to go. Alone.
"Jim!"
I turn behind me to see my friends. I knew they were going to try to stop me, so I have to stop them. I close the gate to the vault, and say one last thing before I leave.
"I'm sorry."
"Jim please, don't do it!"
"Master Jim, you may never come back!"
I turn behind me one last time to the now, vaulted door, and say something so quiet that they can only here.
"I know that but", I point to my chest. "The amulet chose me, I have to do this."
Even with there shouts and pleads, I run towards the portal and escape into the world of darkness.

"Quickly Claire, or Master Jim will be lost in the Darklands!" Blinky cried.
I gave a slight nod before Toby said, "Right then, let's go!" Toby took off and we followed behind. I've never seen him so serious before, probably because he is on the verge of losing his best friend, and I might lose one of the only guys that I ever liked.
When we reached the bridge, we saw Jim, standing in front of the Killahead Bridge. We had to stop him from making this terrible mistake. His life was on the line.
"Jim!" Toby wailed.
Jim turned and looked at us with a small, but sad smile, and we halted in our tracks when we saw the door to the vault go up.
I heard Blinky gasp a little. "He manually override the door. This is nothing we can do now."
That wouldn't stop me from trying. I pounded my fist against the over sized door.
"Jim please, don't do it!" Tears were threatening to spill down my cheeks, but I bolted them up inside.
"I'm sorry."
"Wha-?" I whispered. I heard Jim's voice through the other side of the door, or it could just be my imagination.
"Master Jim, you may never come back!" Blinky wailed through the door.
At this point, tears started to spill down my cheeks. I couldn't hold it in anymore, knowing your about to lose someone you care about so much.
All went quiet for a little bit, but then heard a familiar voice through the other side of the door.
"I know but," he paused. "The amulet chose me, I have to do this."
"Jim no, wait! You promised we go together!" My legs were shaking, and starting to give out.
After about a minute of waiting, we finally got the door open.
But it was too late.
Killahead Bridge, was still standing there, proud and unscathed. However there was no sign of Jim. Not even a trace.
My legs finally gave out and I broke down into my knees. I started to sob uncontrollably, my fists pounding against the floor, echoed throughout the whole room. I could hear Toby whimpering and Blinky grunting in agony. I pull myself up after a little while of crying, and started to stumble towards the bridge. When I got there, I collapsed onto the ground once more, as silent sobs escaped from my mouth.
Only few words escaped from my mouth before I broke back into my loud, and uncontrollable sob.
"Jim...you promised we go... together."
