Chapter 3

"Today class we will be doing an assignment, and the task will be that you will have partners and you all have to find out everything you can about each other than you will do a PowerPoint on them" Mr Anskle said. As soon as the words left his mouth everyone moaned. "That's enough, now the partners go on as followed: Demi and Connor, Mitch and Sam. The list went on and on until it came to my name, Leia and Chase are to work together and that's all so I suggest you get to work" with that Mr Anskle clapped and went and sat down at his desk leaving us to do what we need.

"So partner, what do you want to talk about?" Chase said turning around and facing me "any dark secrets you have to say? Have you killed anyone, smoked all that good stuff" Chase said. I was trying really hard not to laugh but Chase must of picked up on that as his grin turned into a big smile. "Haha I made you giggle" Chase said doing a little dance in his seat.

Then Demi walked up "hey babe, you know once your done with this freak feel free to call me. I'm sure I could please you more than that skank could" Demi purred as she handed him a card that obviously had her number on it.

"Demi you really need to not lay it on so thick not all the guys want to get you in their beds, and why would I want you? Your just a used toy" Chase said smirking at the end of his little speech. 'Ohhhhhhh' everyone is the class said waiting to see what would happen.

"I didn't want you anyway" Demi retorted. "That's not what you said a few minutes ago Demi. Just because you didn't get your way doesn't mean you can bitch about it, because if I said yes you would be jumping all over me" Chase replied standing up. His cool attitude had disappeared and now you could tell he was starting to get mad.

"Class sit down! Demi and Chase for interrupting my class you can have a after school detention. Now you can leave" Mr Anskle said walking out of the door. "Well damn" Chase mumbled. "I had better go princess, I don't want another detention." Standing up Chase started to walk out "oh before I forget, I'll be at your house later" Chase said winking, which immediantly made all the girls glare at me.

Walking out to the car park I began my long trek home. When I was about a block away a black car pulled up next to me. "What's a beautiful girl like you doing in a place like this" came a raspy voice. "I.......ummmm..............got to go............my mums calling me" I stuttered and started running.

When I arrived home I locked all my doors and took a shower to calm myself down.

"Princess I know your there please open the door it's cold" came a shout from the front door. Oh crap I totally forgot that Chase was coming sprinting down the stairs I quickly let Chase in.

"Damn I never thought you would let me in" Chase said heading directly to the fire place.

Chase was just standing there when I walked in just staring at the fire. Sitting down next to him, we just sat in silence until he turned around and looked at me. "Ummmm Leia I need to tell you something really important" he said not once breaking eye contact with me. "I........I" he looked really nervous now as his cheeks started going red. "I...........I..........I really like you Leia and I was wondering if you would go on a date with me" wow I was really not expecting that at all. I was expecting him to say something like he killed someone but I mean wow. "Chase" I murmured "you don't have to lie to me, if you hate me I would understand" "see Leia that's the point you don't understand. Every time I see you it makes me smile and I just want to wrap you in my arms and always look after you, and if I can't do that then no one else can" then without another word he stood up and left.

All I could do was sit there. No ones liked me before and I don't know what to do, he sounded so serious when said it but there is still a chance that he was lying. Obviously a guy like him would go for someone like Demi who can offer them something unlike me.

The next day at school I didn't see Chase at all or Demi so maybe he had been lying and has now hooked up with Demi. I mean what guy in his right mind wouldn't want her, she has a awesome body, curves and is super pretty even though her personality is terrible.

"Leia we need to talk. It's about Chase"
