RUFUS POV
I whisper in her ear "Do you want this as much as I do?"

"Yes But I can't do this, not right now at least." she says as our heads touch each other.

"Goodnight Rufus." she says as she gives me a kiss on my cheek and she heads out.

"Whoa!" My heart was beating super fast, it felt like if it was going to come out of my chest.

I head out the door and she was gone. I head upstairs to my room and I see Carnelia writing.

I open the door and she closes whatever she was writing in and I pretend that I didn't see.

"Hey, sorry I was in your room. Just wanted alone time after I go to sleep. I'll sleep on the couch." she says as she gets up.

"No! It's fine really, you can sleep here."

"Are you sure?" She replies as she looks down.

"Hey don't do that. Again I'm sorry truly for kissing Tini back."

"Look it's ok, I knew sooner or later you were going to do something. Plus you and I are good friends so it's fine." she replied as she try's to hide her face.

I walk closer to her and go in for a hug "Thank God she's letting me hug her." I thought to myself.

I feel the electricity again. As I held her I look at her as I had my hands on her waist. I can tell she feels what I feel but she looks like she doesn't want to give in.

"Umm."

"No please don't try to hide from me." I say as I look at her eyes.

"I can't do this Rufus. I don't want to get hurt."

She puts her hand on my chest while she looks at me and I look at her lips, so beautiful, I don't know why people are mean to her, she is really beautiful to be honest.

"I really like you." I tell her as I moved my hand on her face.

"What happened in the kitchen can't happen again okay?" She says as she shamefully rubs her arm.

"I won't do anything." I replied as I slowly caressed her face.

CARNELIAS POV
Honestly I wanted to cry and scream my lungs out, he's popular and I'm such a nerdy girl, just because we kissed doesn't mean that we're anything, we barely even met today. I don't understand how girls and guys can just eat the living shit out each other, it's like if they haven't seen each other for years but in reality it's been only like a day that they haven't seen each other like GET A FUCKING LIFE!

"So I'll just sleep on the couch right here." Rufus says as he grabs his pillow. "You can sleep on my bed." He says as he winks at me.

"N- No I can't let you do that, please let me just sleep on the couch." I reply as I stutter.

"Please let me just do this one thing for you. I'm pretty sure the bed you sleep in isn't as comfortable as mine." He says as he chuckles.

"Well I got a new bed, my bed in my old house wasn't that great. I got to sleep in the attic, it was the only room left." I replied as I chuckled.

"I'm so sorry polka dottie." He replies. "Hold on." He says as he exits his room.

"God how is it possible to be that sexy?" I asked myself in thought.

Rufus came back and he had some pillows and blankets "You don't have to do that Rufus." I say hesitantly.

"No I want to, plus this pillow and blanket makes you really warm and toasty." He says as he sets everything on the bed.

"Thank you." I reply quietly. "Well I'm gonna get dressed then." I say as I signal him to get out.

"Oh right, sorry about that.
