Chapter 5: The Breakup

Y/n pov

Later on during the day I couldnt focus on anything other than that note. I also had another worry... I was staying in my boyfriends cabin! I was told to go and wait in the cabin and Levi wouldnt be to long after me. A couple of hours pass and I begin to grow worried. I go down to his office to see a stressed Levi asleep ontop of his paper work. I know that with his insomnia it is extremely hard for him to get a good nights rest. "Levi?" I say softly as I start to neaten the piles of paperwork on his desk. " Levi come on we need to go to bed. I dont want you sleeping like this." I nudge him a little and place a kiss on his cheek. He groans sleepily. " y/n Im fine." he says and turns his head away from me. " Nope were going to bed." I say pulling him from his office to his cabin. He changes clothes directly infront of me causing me to blush madly. He smirked and lied down next to me. I subconsiously turn away from him. I feel safe with him next to me. He slowly falls asleep. In his sleep he grabs onto my waist and pulls me close to him. I continue to fall asleep. The next morning I wake up and notice Levi has been gone for a long time. I sit up and begin to get dressed. I go to get my 3D manuver gear and notice that each of the leather straps have been cut. Who did this? Without my gear I cant train. Oh Levi is gonna kill me! I open the door to the cabin and walk to the training grounds hoping that he wouldn't notice. "Where's your gear brat?" He asks. Damn. "I don't know. I went to put it on but all the straps were cut." I say. He looks at me with an uncertain look. "I think it was the same person who wrote the note cut my gear." I say clearly worried. He agrees with me and we decide that training will be just hand to hand combat. After a few rounds of combat (I lost literally all of them) I was dismissed and immediately pushed against a nearby tree and kissed lovingly by my boyfriend. I kissed back and heard a noise in the forest behind us. I didn't think anything of it until I saw a flash of a person with orange hair run out of the forest. I pushed Levi off so I could get a better look. "What's wrong?" He asked clearly concerned. "I saw a girl in a scouts uniform run out of the woods after looking at us." I replied. "Oh she was probably just training." Levi acted unfazed by this so I chose to ignore it. I went about my day with Levi until later that evening when we were in his cabin. Levi was paged to Erwins office.

Levi POV

What the fuck does eyebrows want now? I was spending time with my beautiful y/n and was rudely interrupted. I walk into his office. "What do you want eyebrows?" I ask. "Levi sit, we need to talk about your cadet y/n." He says.
"A cadet caught you both kissing in the training grounds. You know the rules. There are no cadet superior romantic relationships. She is under age so it is also illegal. I have to tell you to end the relationship now and if you don't I will have to remove your position as captain of the Survey Core." He explains. I keep my blank expression but I am completely shocked. I can't and won't leave my y/n. Some other cadet will get her and treat her like shit. I won't let that happen. " I understand." I say simply and leave his office and head back to my cabin. I open the door to see my y/n she smiles as she sees me. "Y/n, I need to tell you something."
