The Confession

Lidias P.O.V

'I'm gonna kill Ethan!' I thought to myself.

He didn't come to my house on Friday after he said he would spend the weekend here. At first I thought he was upset because I wasn't able to make it to school on Friday but he's not one to avoid my calls no matter how upset he is.

Mom even brought me over to his house last night to check on him because I knew he was afraid of the dark and I didn't want him to be all alone but when I got there nobody was home. We checked everywhere and I was really getting worried.

I decided that if by noon on Saturday I didn't hear from him I was gonna go to the police.

I was about to call his mom to see if she knew where he was when I saw a call coming from him. My hands were shaking while I slid on the screen to accept it.

Hello, Who is this?" I found myself asking.

"Geez, cant a guy call a girl" His voice

"Where have you been?" she screamed at me

"Meet me at the park and Ill tell you everything." Was all he said.

This is very strange...

Nevertheless, I got ready and headed out to the park. I was sitting under an old oak tree when I saw Ethan approaching with a red mark on his cheek and a cut that was bandaged up across his forehead.

I ran to him and gave him a big hug "What happened to you Ethan" I asked as we went back under the tree and sat.

"Derek happened to me" he responded

"So what did you want to tell me?" I asked eagerly. I never payed attention to the fact that Derek did it. He was always inflicting blows on Ethan's body on a regular basis. Poor Guy.

Ethan made me want to be a guy so bad. So I could beat the shit out of Derek. Sigh.

"Yesterday when you were absent from school Derek approached me and as usual I tried to run but he was standing at the only exit in the library" he said starting to cry. He started hitting me until my nose decided to bleed then passed out..."  I trailer off.

"So you were at school the whole time?" I asked puzzled.

"No" he answered nervously.

"What? just spill the beans" I said eagerly

"He confessed his loved for me" he said so fast that it took me ten seconds to figure out what he said.

"Seriously stop joking around" I punched him in the arm playfully.

"Im not joking" he added

*Gasp*

"Why did he do this to you then?" I asked running my hands gently across the bruises on his face.
"I thought he loved you" I asked

"I thought so too." He sighed.

"So did you guys do anything" I said trying to wipe the sadness off his face, Lucky did I know it was successful.

A blush appeared across his face. "Kinda he only gave me a hickey" He answered blushing.

"Oh my god, I was mad at you but the news you just gave me totally topped that." I squealed.

"Wanna Grab a Burger" I added

"Sure, why not" he replied.

We went to burger king and both ordered a rodeo burger with fries and a pepsi. We sat at a table and started to eat when I realized that he didnt tell me what had happened to his face, he only told me who did it.  "Hey Ethan"

"Yes" he responded

"You didnt tell me what happened to your face"

"Oh I mustve forgotten" he implied

"Well last night when the power went out I was screaming out his name. he came up and I told him about why I was scared of the dark. he drank a beer and got drunk. He started going on and on about stupid things so I lied down and muttered something to him. I don't clearly remember. I heard him growling so I got up. he came up to me and Slapped me across my face. I asked him what it was for and he told me it was for what I had called him."

And as I used my finger indicating him to continue.

"I didnt know he was so strong even though he was drunk. He chased me but by the time I was out of the room the power came on. I fell down the stairs when he started calling me names that I didn't like."

You can stop there I told him. I couldnt bare to hear anymore of this.

I know this chapter is sloppy but it's a relevant part to the story............ Enjoy...or not....
