Faded

You were a song--intangible--temporarily made for me,

An out-of-tune voice of yours is my kind of symphony.

Lyrics dripped from our mouths,
a perfect melody.

You & I were just an idea, loving and breakin' secretly.

Unexpected was this all but we fall then sing,

Eyes closed, I danced swiftly in the storm you bring.

Your dress soaked up from the rain of love I'd poured,

Drunken then fighting, 'til "us" got bored.

Again--
You were the song so familiar but incomplete,

A track I listen no more but left undelete.

A lyrics I kept reading 'til I get soared,

Now just a memory, not old but blurred.

Kept but untouched.
