Soul's POV
"Hey (y/n)? Are you free tonight?" I asked, blushing deeply. Man this is so not cool. I'm making a fool out of myself.
"Hm? yeah why?" She flashed a small smile that was enough to calm me down slightly.
"Do you wanna hang out?...just the two of us?"
"....Sure, I'll see you later Soul" (y/n) said, waving at me, her smile growing bigger before she left with Tsubaki.
"Nice, you actually asked her out" Blackstar laughed, slapping me on the back as a sign of approval.
"Shut your trap or I won't go through with this" I snapped, gritting my teeth.
"Fine, remember one year then you dump her. Oh (y/n) will be so disapointed." Blackstar smirked
I sighed at his words. This isn't going to end well.
(Y/n)'S POV
"You know that's Soul's way of saying 'hey let's date' "Tsubaki laughed at my oblivous self.
Heat travelled to my cheeks. Did Soul actually like me? Do I like him back?
Of course you do, you can't stop thinking about him.
Now I really hoped what Tsubaki said was true.
"Hi Liz, Kid" Tsubaki greeted, causing me to look up, almost instantly.
"I heard you were going out with Soul tonight" Kid declared with a small smirk plastered over his features.
"How'd you know?" I asked in confusion.
"Blackstar has a big mouth. I thought you would've guessed by now" Kid replied, " you know I should help you get ready"
"I would've thought Liz would ask not you kid" I laughed, trying to brush off the awkward feeling of finally being able to talk to him.
"Hmph, are you saying I can't do a good job?!"
"No it's just ...you're a guy.." I trailed off, having no concrete reason to my refusal.
"Your point is?" He questioned
"Never mind, you win" I smiled, glad that we were talking like the old friends we used to be.
