Path of Hate - Chapter Thirteen

Kid's POV

"Did you hear? Kid's best friend is dating Soul! they make such a cute couple!"

"Oh my death! really?!"

(A/n since when were the girls at DWMA such gossip freaks...heh back to the storeh)

"Hey Kid?" Liz called

"What is it" I replied , with a monotone voice , digging both of my hands into my pockets, as we walked down the hall.

"How do you feel about Soul and (Y/n) dating?" She asked

"I don't really care , they can do what they want" I sighed.

"Ooooo Kid's jealous!" Patty teased.

"And where did you get that from" I questioned, turning to her

"Maka told us!" She said

"What?!, I made her swear not to tell anyone!"

Liz sighed "We don't even talk to Maka all that much, Patty was just playing with you"

"But I made him admit it!" Patty giggled

A sigh left my mouth and I ignored Patty's chants of "Kid's jealous" and Liz's attempts to shut her up.

The moment we passed (y/n) I couldn't help but glare at her. Maybe my jealousy was taking over me but at that moment I didn't care.

"H-hey Kid" (y/n) greeted. She seemed nervous and extremely shooken up. She must've spent time with Crona again.

Crona. More competition.

I groaned mentally before walking past (y/n) without saying a word.

(Y/n)'s POV

My heart dropped when Kid ignored my greeting and walked past me.

"Uh...don't mind him, he's a bit screwed up today" Liz chuckled nervously.

"Oh...okay" I mumbled lightly and proceeded to head to class.

"Goodmorning (Y/n)" Anna greeted, giving me a small hug. I came to know she's extremely loud and over excited most of the time. It was weird to think that she liked Crona , as they were extremely different.

"Morning Ann"

"So what do you want to do afterschool" She asked, tying her dark red hair into a ponytail.

"I dunno, should we work on extra credit" I suggested

"Nah, not in the mood today.....but I am in the mood for ice skating!" She beamed

"Ice skating? It's summer!" I raised my brows at her crazy suggestion.

"Which is why it's perfect timing" she giggled.

"Okay, whatever floats your boat" I laughed slightly before following her to class.

My eyes scanned the room for seats and they landed on the one empty seat next to Crona.

I grabbed Anna's wrist and raced to the one seat next to Crona.

"Hey Crona, is it okay if Anna sits here, I have to sit with Soul today" I asked, a smirk forming on my face as I saw Anna's face go red.

"S-sure" he replied.

"I'll catch you two later" I said , waving goodbye to both of them as I made my way to the empty seat next to Soul.

"Sup" Soul greeted nonchalantly.

"Hey to you too" I rolled my eyes and smiled slightly before gazing back to Anna and Crona.

I couldn't help but feel a little bit jealous, even though I was officially dating Soul.

☆flashback (how exciting we get to go back in time )☆

"Um...(y/n)...will you be my girlfriend" Soul said as he scratched behind his neck.

I giggled at his nervous state and kisses his cheek before replying with a 'yes'.

☆flashback over (dat was short)☆

My mind traveled back to Kid and his actions this morning.

Liz should've known better. I used to be his best friend. I could read him like an open book.

Something was bothering him and I needed to know what.

I apologize I haven't put a lot of Kid in this book which is why I'm really trying to get him back in the story but keep in mind he'll end up hating you again.

I don't if I should've said that cuz I might've just spoilt the next chapter....oh well.
