Path of Hate - Chapter Fourteen

(Y/n)'s POV

"Hey Kid, can I talk to you for a sec?" I asked, just as the bell rang, causing most of the students to rush out of the classroom at lightning speed.

He gave me an irritated look but followed me out of the classroom anyway.

"A-are you....uh...okay?" I asked nervously, twiddling my thumbs behind my back as my gaze fell on the floor.

"Of course I am, why wouldn't I be?" He replied with a bored tone as if I was wasting his time.

"Look (y/n) just because I helped you out the other day dosen't mean I forgive you for leaving now will you excuse me, I have better things I do" Kid said boldly before walking away from me, leaving me alone in the hallway.

My mouth was open in shock and I felt tears sting my eyes. As soon as it fell down my face, I brought up my hand to wipe it away.

'No way will I give him the satisfaction of seeing me hurt' I thought to myself as I took a sharp intake of breath and caught up with Anna, who was just leaving the classroom.

"Hey I think I'm going to go home early today, we'll go ice skating some other time 'kay?" I told her with a hint of sadness in my voice.

She gave me a concerned look and nodded " I'm gonna hang with Maka for a bit, I'll see you at home alright"

She gave me a small wave before running the opposite direction.

A sigh left my mouth as I began the long walk home,accompanied by nothing but the music ringing through my ears as I plugged my earphones into my phone then slipped it into my pocket.

Kid's words kept repeating themselves over and over again in my head like a chorus to a song.

Had I really upset him that much? it wasn't like I wanted to leave him.

Upon arriving at mine and Anna's apartment I walked into my room and got out a book before jumping on my bed.

Out of the corner of my eye I noticed a lollipop which was soon hanging out of my mouth as I read (f/b).

So yeah....this was just a filler chapter ...

For some of you who are confused about time skips,each chapter is about something different unless I add a 'part two' to it.
