"So, here's what i recall.. he cooked you breakfast, accompanied you to your car, gave you his jacket and then asked you on a date, which you said yes?" Hayley says to me while eating the popcorn from the bowl she's holding. I nod hesitantly and she glares at me, thinking about what to say next. She wants to say something, i can see it in her face, but she holds it.

"You know what, good for you" she smiles brightly, but suspiciously.

Hayley is the type of friend you seek when you're in dilemma, she always have the right things to say and brings you comfort. So seeing her this skeptical while answering my questions bring a raise in my eyebrows.

We are currently having a movie night with Britt. We spend most of the night gossiping, watching movies, you know all the cliché girl's night. It's kinda our thing to spend Sunday night always together, sometimes we would spent our night at our apartment and sometimes another night at Britt's.

"but, lizz.. i don't think you should see him again" Britt cuts off my conversation with Hayley. She looks worried after i told her my story, as if i've done something wrong. I raise my eyebrow looking directly at her brown eyes, i don't know what she means by that.

"You see.." Britt stands up from the comfort of her couch to approach me, but is getting hold back by Hayley. She holds Britt's hand and give her the look, signing Britt to let it go.

"Wait, am i missing something here?" I wrinkled my eyebrows and narrowed my eyes. I've never been more curious in my life more than now. But, they just stand still silently.

"What is it?" i raise my voice a bit, in anger almost. it's not like them to keep a secret from me, even more when i'm the only one who is in the dark here.

"so... I've heard a lot of bad things about Shawn, you know.. people say that he is dangerous.." Britt sighs relievedly, like a weight has been lifted from her chest.

"i'm worried if you see him again, he will hurt you.." Britt continues explaining and sit next to me.

Something in my mind doesn't add up, the Shawn i know is actually an okay guy, he doesn't seem to be scary whatsoever, even when he acts around his friends, he was actually pretty nice, but i can see it in Britt's eyes that she isn't kidding.

"so, if you know that he has this.. bad reputation, then why did you let him take me to his room?" i stated fiercely, not wanting to give up until i know what really happened

"well.. i didn't at first" Britt takes a deep breath before she continues explaining, "Hayley and I really tried to take you with us.. and Greg can drive you home, safely. But, Shawn refused to let you go and insisted on you to stay.. so we had this little argument fighting over you, but when Camila shows up, she told us that everything is going to be fine, she would take care of you, well i know Camila and i trust her.. so yeah, you know the rest" i don't know what to answer with that story, so i just hug her instead, thanking her. She smiles at me and Hayley joins in from behind, we all ended up laughing. We all seems to have already forgotten about the movie 'Dirty Dancing' that is currently playing in the TV. Look at how perfect our relationship is..

Britt has always been the mature one out of us three, she always protects me and Hayley at all cost. Being friends with her, you will feel safe knowing that someone will always got your back, no matter what.

"Britt, but i think she should give Shawn a chance.. after all his reputation is just a rumor, right? and personally i think that he is a pretty nice guy, after everything that he has done to our baby liz, he deserves a shot" Hayley tells Britt while reaching out for my hand to hold it. Britt reluctantly nods, still not sure if she approves it or not.

"i actually like him.. not like like.. i just agree with Hayley, he is actually pretty okay.." i smirks and lock my eyes to Britt.

"Right, whatever.. but take care of yourself for me, would ya?" Britt takes a deep breath and sigh forcefully, giving me an approval, that's all the approval i need.

"When is the date exactly?" Hayley whispers while she hands out a plastic bag full of Zara's clothes to a customer. It is now Monday, me and Hayley are doing our morning shift for the job we do in Zara.

"Geez.. can't you wait?" i hiss back at her quietly, not trying to get the attention of the customer standing in front of the cashier. "Thank you, come again" i smile brightly after i gave the customer their bill and change.

"Okay, to answer your question.. he said he's going to pick me up at 7 tonight" i stare at Hayley who's right now standing next to me curiously. What's her problem? She's been asking me non stop about Shawn since this morning, it seriously felt like i have no privacy at all. I know she means well, but please.. give me a break.

"Well, someone's on their period" Hayley mocks me teasingly and folds her arm together. "look.. i'm sorry, today's been stressful enough for me and i don't think talking about Shawn is going to help" i sigh and closes my eyes for a bit to stay calm. Hayley then pulls me closer for a hug and lightly tabs my back. "I know, you're not the only one, okay?"

To explain my rude mood today, it's because of my college application. I've applied for NYU before my graduation and as far as i know, this week is the announcement week, so this is the week that will decide my entire future and so does Hayley, who applied for Julliard School of Art. If we make it, we are going to move to New York.. the city of our dream.

"You know what, we deserve a treat" Hayley grin suspiciously. "After this let's have a lunch at the  new restaurant on the 2nd floor, i've heard that their food is amazing" I nod and smile, showing that i agree.

Just like what we have planned, after we finish our shift, Greg came and join us to eat at the new restaurant. It is an Italian restaurant and Hayley mentioned that their carbonara is good, so i think that's what i'm going to order for lunch. Hayley ordered the same as well, while Greg ordered tenderloin steak.

It was a fun and chill afternoon, which i really need it right now. We are talking about going on a holiday during this summer, we still don't know where to go yet though. Hayley always wanted to go to London, while Greg thinks that they should go to Australia.

"You do know that it is freezing cold in Australia, right?" Hayley argues. Yes, everyone knows that during this time of the year, Australia is freezing cold. As much as i love snow, i think i'm gonna wait til Christmas, thank you.

"No, it's summer.." Greg answers spontaneously. 

"You dumbass, remind me why i wanted to be your girlfriend again?" 

"Because i have a sick body?" He wiggles his eyebrows.

"Wait.. you guys are official now?" I ask in surprise. "How?"

"It's pretty funny actually, he said that he was watching Love, Rosie and all of the sudden he just really wanted me to be his girlfriend and so asked me over the phone this morning"

"Ew, Greg.. over the phone? aren't you a gentleman" I tease sarcastically.

"Well, unlike the guys from Love, Rosie.. i'm not stupid enough to let the love of my life goes just like that and after watching it, it came to a realization to me that i just need to secure my place asap" He answers smugly. "So, although i asked her over the phone, at least the words were coming from my heart" and we all laugh at this.

Hayley really deserves him, although we all know how Greg can be so stupid sometimes. He always makes her laugh during her darkest night and he always stays by her side no matter what. Hayley becomes the loving person she is today because of him and it's good that after watching them months messing around, they finally decided settle down.

After we finish our lunch, we stroll around the mall for one more hour before heading home.
