Part 7 : What Have you done to me!

She stared at him blankly, she hasn't yet processed his words..she didn't react and he stood there trying to understand her face...she had this anger but hurt look... he was again too much in his sarcasm...but no it wasn't his usual sarcasm, he unconsciously was hurt of her refusing the idea of being with him...so it was his pride...he is too proud to see a woman rejecting him, even if he hasn't considered this possibility seriously and was just provoking her...

but it seems it's not only pride...he never reacted this way to a woman.. if a woman reject him, especially in such a sarcastic situation where he was just mentioning dating as a joke, he would just continue his way..he never gets attached easily anyway and he never needed to say such words...he tried to find words to apologize or to make his joke clearer...

Actually he found it hard to apologize, he was a bit stubborn and maybe he doesn't even have to apologize since he partly meant he said, he comforted himself seeing things from this point...he thought to himself that he was not totally wrong...Hazan isn't his type, he appreciates honesty so much that he can't approve of her actions...no matter how much she liked his brother, she shouldn't get to play such games...

the  thought of his brother made him again realize that it's already a reason for not thinking of her, she is his brother girl, and in that aspect, no matter that his brother wasn't single in first place when he decided to get to the party with her...

"Can you get off my way ?"she was, finally and hopefully, angry. A reaction is always better than none.

"Sorry what do you mean?" He pretended to not know the reason of her anger..."I am not getting into the car with you...so can you get off my way so that I reach a cab?" ....he realized at her words that he was blocking her way.."I will drive you myself...home of course...you need to get some rest"....

"I need to get back to work...I can't afford a day off" she seemed hesitating and hesitant, she shouldn't be here trying to explain herself to him, he had no authority on her and she didn't need his permission to go, he frowned at her words..."what are you saying? Have you heard the doctor"..he was surprised of her stubbornness. Was she only doing it to spite him ? Is she that angry at his words ? 

She was probably reading his mind "I am really serious, I need to get back to work"..."ok, can you please get in and I will drive you?" She saw the determination in his eyes, and she was already feeling too tired to argue, so she understood that she's probably wasting her time and efforts negotiating, maybe it's just better to get in and be at work in twenty minutes rather than wasting more time and being really late to work.

As soon as they put the safety belts she looked at his GPS "Can I put the address or you know how to go back there ??"

He looked to the rear-view mirror before starting the engine "go back where ? " ... she is now really upset : "are you always this slow ? To work!" ...he rolled his eyes "Hazan, where's your work place ? Can you be more clear for once ? And stop blaming me for your ambiguous words ?" ...

 "The gym! How do you show up to my work place and then forget it that easily ??"..."what? What do you do at the gym?" ... he suddenly felt curious, she was not a customer, she worker there? is this why he couldn't get her contact details when he first asked! "Boxing teacher " she said while imitating punching the air and she added "but I wasn't focused earlier, I wouldn't have let you get to me...I can easily , usually I mean, sense when someone is planning to attack...but you totally got me by surprise "...he laughed "I knew how good I was...tell me something new!".

she sighed, he's so full of himself, probably the most self centered person in whole Istanbul, no need to argue more... "now seriously, Hazan, how are you planning to give boxing lessons while you are in this state ? " for once, he seemed serious. ..."you should have asked yourself before attacking innocent people in the street!" ...it was his turn to sigh "Hazan, I believe I apologized for that part..and you are escaping my question. How are you going to work while you should be resting and watching tv ? Look I know a bunch of good movies.. time will fly!"
