chapter one

Kara's pov

Do you ever get the feeling that you're missing something? You're happy but something isn't right. Yeah i got that when i landed on earth. I knew i had these powers. I could have helped so many people with it. Like the woman and her baby i saved back then on the beach. But i had to hide them. Hide the real me. But not anymore. I'm done with hiding. It's time that the people of national city get to know there hero!

"Kara are you sure you want to do this? People would understand if you didn't. I mean you are going to talk to almost if not evryone in the city"  yeah that's alex, my sister. Always worried about me. "Alex i'm fine. I talk to people all the time" i turn around and look at her. She's standing there with her arms crossed and in her black DEO uniform. She sighs and nods. "Well then we better get going, don't want you to be late then huh." she smiles at me and we both start walkin out off the DEO until j'onn stops us. "Girls, hold on" we stop and look at him. "First off all, good luck supergirl i'm proud off you" i nod. "Second, alex i want you to take our new agent with you so you guys can get to know eachother"

Alex's pov

" i'm sorry but why would we have to get to know eachother?" i look confused at j'onn. Why do i need to get to know the new guy? "Because agent danvers, she is going to be youre new partner." wait since when do i need a partner? "My partner? J'onn i don't need a partner! I never had one and i don't need one. I'm fine on my own." j'onn sighs and shakes his head. "Listen alex, i don't care if you want a partner or not but i told you that if the time comes you will get one. And i found someone who would do great as youre partner." he turns around " she's in the training room." and after that just walks away. I can't believe him! I don't need a partner. I'm not a babysitter for gods sake! I feel someone touching my schoulder and when i turn around i see kara standing there. " you good?" she asks. I nod and start to walk towards the training room. Time to meet my new partner i guess.

Kara's pov

I follow alex to the training room and when i go inside i see a girl sitting there. She looks up and smiles "hy supergirl, i'm agent sawyer" we shake hands and when i look behind me i see alex standing there. "Alex?" i ask. She snapped out of her daydream and shakes agent sawyer's hand. "Nice to meet you agent sawyer. I'm agent danvers, youre partner." i look at the time and see that it's almost time to go. "Hy guys? It's almost time. Mayby we should get going?" they both nod. I walk towards the balcony while they go downstairs to take the car there. I was about to fly off when somebody calles my name. " kara! Hold on." i turn around and see my best friend winn standing there. " yeah? What's up?" he hugs me and wishes me good luck. Winn is like the little brother around here. The sweet guy who wouldn't hurt a fly. Anis like really smart. I'm glad he's part of the team. He also was the first person that knew that i was supergirl. Besides alex ofcourse. I turn back around and fly into the sky.
