chapter six

Alex's pov.

Man, maggie is driving me crazy. She is always on my mind and i can't stop thinking about her. We only have 12 more hours left and all we can do is wait. Winn is working with somebody to make better weapons. I don't know who it is and i don't even care. The only thing that i care about is finding kara. I'm going to tell her that i'm gay. At least it's going to be a great distraction from the aliens for her. I walk towards the med bay where i told kara to wait for me. When i walked in she was allready there sitting on a bed. "Hy kara." i walked towards her and gave her a hug. "Hy alex, what's up?" i started to get nervous. "Well i need to talk to you about something." i said. Kara nodded. "Alright." i looked at her and started walking around the room. " i really need to tell you something. It's about me and you just need to know." i started to ramble. Kara stood up and held my shoulders. "Are you sick?" she asked. "No i'm no-" "are you thinking about joining cadmus?" "what no ofcourse no-" "then how bad can it be to tell me? Alex you can tell me anything alright." she sat back on the bed and patted the spot next to her. "Come on. Sit." i walked to the bed and sat down beside her. She layed her arm around me and i snuggled in her. "Now what do you need to tell me?" i closed my eyes and relaxed. "I like maggie." i felt kara looking at me and when i opend my eyes and looked at her she looked confused. "Well yeah i noticed. You guys became friends fast. And maggie is nice so no wonder you like her. A lot of the agents do. But why did you felt the need to tell me that and why being so nervous about it?" i sighed. Of course she would miss understand me. " no kara, i meant that i like her. I love her. I want to hold her hand and call her mine. I want to hug and kiss her. I want her to be my girlfriend. " i looked down because i was to afraid to look at her. Kara stood up and kneeled in front of me. She grabbed my face with her hands and gently pulled my head up. "Alex, i love you. And i want you to be happy. If maggie makes you happy then so be it. Go and get her! Because we only have eleven hours and thirty five minutes left" i laughed and so did she. I stood up and hugged her.

Kara's pov.

I walked out of med bay and saw alex walking towards the training room. I'm glad that she finaly found somebody she loves. I decide to go look at winn and his friend to see how they are doing. But when i walked in i didn't see winn there, but his friend was. "Lena?" lena turned around and was about to say something when winn rushed in and bumped into me. "Ah! Sorry kara, didn't see you there." winn rushed to the table that was filled with some sort of guns. " lena pass me the screwdriver please." he held his hand out and after feeling nothing he looked up and saw me and lena staring at eachother. "Kara?" lena asked. Winn suddenly realised what happend and silently left the room while wispering apolegies. "Are you really kara?" i sighed and pulled my glasses out of my pocket. " yeah....i'm kara danvers. " i smiled a little. I expected lena to yell at me and tell me that she never wanted to see me again. But what she did wasn't what i expected. She hugged me. " hey don't look like that. You are still the same person to me kara. And i understand why you dind't tell me." i hugged her back and after we released eachother we smiled. " now if you don't mind, i'm going back to work." she smiled and so did i. I walked out of the little lab they are in and saw winn sitting there on the floor working on something. I tapped his shoulder and when he looked up he jumped and stood up. " kara listen i'm so so sorry. I forgo-" "winn calm down, it's okay. Just go back to work okay?" i smiled at him and he smiled back. He was about to enter the room when he suddenly turned around. "Ohw yeah kara! I found out where the aliens are going to land. They are going to land in the center of the city." he smiled and enterd the room. The center of the city!? We need to warn the people! And i know exactly how.

Alex's pov.

Alright alex, chill. You're just going to tell the woman you love that you love her. Alright come on. I opend the door and walked in. "Hy alex. What's up?" i walked over to maggie and was about to say something when we heard a knock on the door. When i looked i saw james walking in. "Hy guys! There you are. J'onn told me that you guys had to go and get superman here. The jet is ready to go." he walked away and i went to the jet with maggie following me. I gues i'm going to tell her another time.
