chapter five

Alex's pov.

I look around the room and nod to myself. This is a big team filled with people who are trained to do these kind of things. People with powers. People with skills. This is what we need to stop the alien attack. "Alright, is everyone ready to go?" barry asks. We all nod and cisco opens the breach to our world. We all jump in and land in the DEO. "That's not just the flash you brought with you." i look begind me and see j'onn. "Yeah barry brought his whole team and his friends. I hope it's okay?" kara said. J'onn nods and smiles. "This is what we need." he walks away ordering agents around to show them to their rooms. "So alex. Last time i was here you where gone, looking for youre dad." i turn to barry and was about to ask him how he knows until he said. " oh uh kara told me." i nodded. "So how did it go, did you find him?" i shook my head. "It's hard to explain. How about you tell me how you got youre speed." he nodded and sat down.

Barry's pov.

" well when i was a kid, about eleven years old my mom got murdered. It happend at night. I was sleeping when something woke me up. And when i looked around i saw the watter from my aquarium floting out of it. And then i heard my parents yelling. I runned downstairs and saw my dad yelling for my mom. When i got closer i saw my mom on her knees, scared and crying. And there was this strange kind of lightning inside our house. A red and yellow one. My mom looked at me and told me to run. My dad grabbed me by the schoulders and looked me in the eye and he said ' run barry, run!' but before i really had the chance to run i was already gone. Something brought me out on the streets. I ran back home and saw ambulance and police cars infront of my house. When i got closer i saw them taking my dad away. I yelled for him and he told me to not go inside. They were taking him away because they thought that he killed my mom. I ran inside and looked for her. And in my living room i saw a coverd body laying there. I kneeled down and pulled the cover off. Joe was there and held me when i cried my eyes out. He was also the one who took me in. After a decade i was grown up and working at the ccpd. One night i was working there when the machine that wells was working on exploded. It caused a wave of dark matter to go trough the whole city. It also caused a thunderstorm. And while i was in my lab i got struck by lightning. So because off all the dark matter in my body and the lightning bolt, i got my speed." i sighed. "So is that all you can do. Run fast?" alex asked. "Well no. If i go fast enough i can make a lightnin bolt and trow it. And i can phase trough things!" she nodded. "Impresive."

Kara's pov.

"So that's the whole team. With these people we are going to try and hold these aliens back." j'onn said. I nodded. "Yep, that's all i could get from there." j'onn shook his head. "We need better weapons. With the one's we have right now we aren't going to make it. Winn how much time do we have left?" winn turned around. "Uuhm about 15 hours." j'onn sighed. "The people of the DEO are too buzy to help winn create a weapon and he doesn't have enough time to do it on his own." winn stood up and walked towards us. "Actually i know someone who can help us." j'onn nodded. "Call them and get to work." winn nodded and ran off, his phone in his hand. "Well i'm gonna go and guard the city again." i walked towards the balcony and flew off.

Alex's pov.

I took barry to his room and walked towards the training room. I walked in and saw maggie beating up a punching bag. She was going at it. I just stood there and stared at her. I didn't even notice that i walked closer to her until i was about two meters away from her. I watched her musceld arms who were shining because of the sweat. "It's rude to stare you know." maggie stops punching the punching bag and turns around. "I wasn't staring." maggie smirked. "Oh no? What were you doing then?" she crossed her arms and looked me in the eyes. "I was observing." maggie smiled. "Observing what?" i shook my head and took a step closer."observing a piece off art ofcourse." maggie blushed and i took another step closer. We were so close. I leaned in and whisperd. "You, maggie sawyer, are so beautifull." i grabbed her hips gently. "And youre eyes..." my mouth was almost touching her ear. "I could sufocate in them.." my hand went behind her back. "Just like how i could sufocate in this water." i whisperd.i took the watter bottle that stood behind her and pulled back. I opend the bottle and drank from it. When i looked at maggie i saw her blushing and looking irretated. "Two can tease sawyer." i smirked and walked away. "You'll regret this danvers!" i hear her call after me.
