chapter 22

Kara's pov.

I see maggie and alex walk towards me and frown when i don't notice ashley with them. "Where did ashley go, guys?" i ask them. "She flew home. She said that she wanted to learn how to controle her powers so she used them to fly home. When she flies she kind of reminds me of those guys that could merge together." alex says. Maggie looks at her with a frown. "Wait, what guys? Do you mean that professor and that boy from the legends of tomorrow? Those with the fire powers?" maggie asks her. Alex nods. "Speaking of legends of tomorrow. How are sara and felicity?" i ask them. "Uhm, i think that they are fine. Haven't really talked to them today after everything that happend with the skate park blowing up and stuff." maggie says with a shrug. "Ohw, i'll go check up on them then. See you guys tomorrow!" i say with a smile and a small wave.

Sara's pov.

"Should we talk about it?" i ask felicity. She looks at me with a frown. "Talk about what?" she asks me. I sigh and stand up. "About staying or leaving. Are we going to stay here or are we going back to the others?" i ask. Felicity shrugs and sits down on a chair. "I don't know. What do you want to do?" she asks me. I sigh. "I don't know. I just want to be together with you. As long as i'm with you then i'm fine with either option." i say with a smile. Felicity smiles and shakes her head. "That was cute. And maybe we should stay here. I mean, if we go back then they will want us to help them and get back in the team. I feel like we won't get to see eachother if we decided to go back. We are free here and no one knows who we are exept for the Deo team. We can finaly get normal jobs and enjoy our lives here. And it's not like we will never see our friends again. We can visit them and they can visit us." felicity says. I smile and nod. "Alright then. Let's stay. Let's start normal lives here and get normal jobs. I'm all for it." i say. Felicity smiles at me and we hug. I'm done with fighting bad guys. I'm done with being in danger. I want to enjoy my life together with felicity in peace. I'm done playing the superhero.

Felicity's pov.

Sara hugs me and i hug her back. I'm glad that she agrees with me. I really wanted to stay here and start a new life, but i'm not capable of doing that without my girlfriend. We pull back from the hug just as someone knocks on the door of the bedroom that we are curently staying in. Sara opens the door and we both smile when we see that kara is the one who knocked. "Hey guys! How are you doing? I'm not interupting, am i?" kara asks. I shake my head and smile at her. "Of course you are not interupting, kara! And we are fine. How are you?" i ask her. Kara smiles and steps into the room. "I'm doing great! Glad that the kryptonite is out of my body." kara says. "Hey, how was that girl doing? The one who blew up that skate park." sara asks kara. "Ashley? She's fine i think. Alex and maggie said that she went home. She was much calmer the last time that i saw her and she looked like she was in more controle of her powers, so that's a good thing!" kara says while her smile brightens even more. "Yeah, it's a good thing. What's going to happen with her though?" i ask kara. "Well, alex and maggie are going to train her for some self defence and i'll ask her tomorrow if she wants me to train her with her powers. We will see what happens from there and what she wants. If she wants to just go home and have a normal live then that's fine, but if she wants to help us protect the people in this city then that's fine aswell." kara says. "What kind of powers does she have?" sara asks kara. "Well, for now she can only do stuff with fire and ice and she can fly." kara says to sara. "Wait, what do you mean 'for now'?" i ask her. "Well, when i first landed on earth my powers were only flying and x-ray vision. My other powers evolved over time. It could be that her powers wil evolve aswell and that she will gain other powers." kara explained to us.

Winn's pov.

I put my suit on and turn around to look at james in his guardian suit. "You ready for your first spar, meta boy?" james asks me. I can hear him smirking. I put my helmet on and turn my suit on. I quickly scan the room and then nod at him. "I'm ready guardian." i say. James runs towards me and tries to punch my face with his left arm but i duck underneath his punch and punch his stomach with my right hand. I kick his right leg with my right leg and then quickly punch him in his face wich causes him to fall over on his back. "What the hell winn!? Where did you learn how to fight like that!?" james asks me while i help him up. "I downloaded some fighting tutorials in my suit. The suit did it's own thing." i say with  a smirk. "That's all nice and cool and stuff but what will happen if you don't have your suit on and someone attacks you? You need to learn how to fight without the suit aswell. Now, let's fight for real. Don't let the suit fight, okay?" james asks me. I pout and nod. Let's try this again!
