A/N: OMG GUYS! I updated this story after ajdjdj freaking long years!!! TT_TT Thank you to all of those who gave me suggestions and words of encouragement! And thank you so much to you wonderful readers for putting up with this story for sooooo long!!! I'm planning to finish this soon actually! So please stay tuned~!

And just a heads up, this chapter will be a bit dramatic! But hey! Who doesn't want a little drama in their life right?

P.S. I was writing this chapter till 5 am soooo I'm sorry for grammatical errors, typos and such~ Can't wait next morning to get this published since the ideas might just vanish from my head too TT_TT

This warmth... it's very soothing. I cautiously cave in to her touch. Burying my face into her silky purple hair, I intertwined my arms across her waist. With her body pressed against mine and her arms cradling me like this, I feel like I'm the luckiest man on earth. From this simple act of hugging, my self-doubts slowly melted away. And knowing that she was doing this with her conscious mind made my heart swell even more with happiness. It was unlike last night when she kissed me due to the influence of alcohol. This time she's fully aware of her actions. I must be dreaming right now! Then again, thinking back to the events of earlier this afternoon, Lyon was actually the one who found the stuffed animal. He even came up with this grand idea of a surprise just to make up with Elizabeth... hmm... Lyon? Helping me? Yep. Totally a dream. But still, if this was just a dream then I don't want to wake up.

"Ahem." Lyon obnoxiously coughed ruining the tender moment.

Elizabeth looked sideways before letting go, "Sorry." She muttered under her breath. "I forgot you were here."

I tried to suppress my laughter as I saw Lyon's eyes twitched, his ego obviously hurt by her statement. "Heh. This is the thanks I get for getting you back together?" He openly questions once he regains composure.

"W-we were not together in the first place..." I weakly defended.

"Eh~ But I saw you two kissed last night~" Lyon continued with his taunting. His eyes gleaming wickedly.

"T-that was just-! W-wait! You were following us?!" I yelled, my head was about to burst in embarrassment.

"Follow? Why would I do that? I simply wanted to see if the two of you were getting along. I heard you two really brawled it out in the streets the last time you fought." He smiled like he actually did it out of kindness.

He said that so innocently that I want to put my fist on his face!

"Ohhh..." He mused, flawlessly avoiding my punch. "And with Elizabeth here stripping in the middle of the night just for you~ I'm sure you two are getting along just fine!"

"What?! You damn bastard!!!" My face was even a darker shade of red than before.

He was watching us the whole night?! That's it! IT IS SO ON! I'm gonna kick his ass! I'm gonna break his face!! I-- wait... if Elizabeth was the one who took off her own clothes last night, then the unexplained lack of clothing this morning wasn't really my fault! I'm innocent! With this vital piece of information, I can clear my name from the crime that I was so wrongly accused!

I turned towards the lightning mage to tell her of my revelation, but only then did I realize that she had been unusually quiet through all of Lyon's non-stop teasing that it was weird even for her. It's as if she was bracing herself for something. Her eyes suddenly took a sharp turn as she leaped from the ground. Just as soon as she jumped, a sword came flying and pierced the spot where she was standing. I quickly turned around to summon an ice mallet but someone pulled me out of the way.
