We were unpacking when the leader of our cabin announced that the fair took place today.  The wasn't like a Ferris wheel or cotton candy and rides. It's more like a dance party in a room, playing interactive games in one room, and doing arts n crafts in another.

I chose to dance with my friends.  I saw Paul there.  The guy I practiced fencing with.  I thought it would be awkward so I kind of just did my own thing.  I danced with my friends Ashley, Jullea, Kate, and Chloe.  We had so much fun.  I realized that I didn't need my crush just to have a lot of fun.  When I heard Blink Or An Eye come on I was like this should be us but it's honestly still fun without him.  My friends and I were having so much fun dancing we lost track of time until the DJ which was one of the leaders, said it was over.  One of the leaders told us a long story about sand people and then our cabin leader brought us back to our cabin to get reading for bed.  I had a great time.  When I walked into our cabin I read some of the Aries characteristics which were engraved on the redwood floor.  I read so many that were true about everyone in the cabin.  Leadership, initiative, fearlessness and so much more.  It was all true.  I sat on my bunk finishing a lanyard I had started in summer camp last year.  I pulled the strings of it tight thinking about all of them meshing together.  It was kind of like us.  If one of the cabins wasn't there then none would function correctly.  We were all important and we all have our differences.
