Camp Zodiac

Chapter 4 - Skill Sets

"Today you will learn how to use your skill sets."  The trainer commanded.  Someone in the back raised their hand.

"Yes?"  The trainer called on her.

"How will we know our skill set?"  She asked.

"This I cannot tell you.  Your cabin must find that cabin's skill set.  The skills are hidden all over Camp Zodiac.  Your Cabin leader knows where your skill set is hidden but she cannot tell you.  She can only help you along your journey.  You have one week."  The trainer informed.  The camp is huge!  How will we ever find it?  Well, Aries is smart!  Aries can figure it out!

We started off by looking near the river.  Nothing was there.  We looked everywhere around campus, passing by other cabins that had already started training with theirs.  As the sun started to fall asleep we got ready to head back to our cabin for the night.  I dreamed of using my skill set and everyone else training with me.  A face came up.  It was his.  I suddenly woke up.  Someone was getting READY TO TAKE A SHOWER!  I started to get really mad.  Our cabin leader had said that we could get up and take a shower at 6:00.  I usually took a shower in the afternoon so I could sleep in the morning.  But I now realize that I won't be sleeping from 5:55am-9:30pm.  

I turned over and looked out my window.  I could see the Leo Boys cabin.  None of their lights were on.  Lucky.  I closed my eyes for five minutes and it was 7:00am.  I slid out of bed while Ashley climbed down the ladder.  We grabbed our clothes and ran to the bathroom and changed.  We went to the mess hall for breakfast.  Pancakes!  Yas!  After breakfast, I joined my cabin and we searched for our skill set, again.

We searched and searched and finally came upon a volcano.  It was active but not ready to erupt.  We found a cave and decided to go inside.  There was a lava flow.  Hovering over the lava was a glowing light with the Aries symbol on it.  Our cabin leader could use "the force" and pick things up which was basically telekinesis.  The floated a huge rock with a circle engraved on it and we all hopped on.  She floated us over the lava until our skill set was in the middle.  

"Hold hands."  She instructed.  We all held hands.  Nothing happened.  I looked around.  I saw that one of the girls wasn't holding another's hand.

"What's wrong?"  I asked her.

"She's gross."  The girl said.  The girl that was left out was the girl with black hair and glasses.

"How?"  I asked.

"I don't know."  She answered.

"Than you should have no problem holding her hand."  I reasoned.  She held the girl's hand.  I could tell she didn't want too.  The engraved circle started to glow and we all lifted off the stone.  The light stared disappearing into each one of us.  Then we fell and hit the stone cold rock.  The lava hit the rock.  My face started to get really hot so I shielded it with my hands and the lava mysteriously went away from it like it was scared.  We knew we found our skill set.
