Jackson led me to the office which was closer than I thought it would be. Don't ask! I thought the office would have been miles away.
"Next!" The old lady shouted from the desk which seemed to devour her petite body. Well, at least we have something in common.
I wonder how many people make fun of her height like I'm normally teased about.
"Next?!" The old lady said more sternly. Her sour eyes staring straight at me; her eyes were more like slits.
I slowly walked up to the desk, now more fearful about approaching this old lady then I was before.
The old lady must have sensed me being scared because the next thing I knew, she was typing away with a victorious smile on her face.
Another growl came from outside the window. Wow, they really do have issues with wolves around here.
Suddenly I felt a hand on my lower back, "you just gonna stand there, Athena?" Jackson whispered into my ear.
Am I really taking this long to get to a desk? God damn it Raine! Get your butt into gear and move it to that desk! Do not let this old lady get the better of you!
"Hey," I said in a quite tone towards the old lady.
Why am I being so quite?
I try to say it again.
"Hey," again, it came out in a quite tone however this time it sounded more like a squeak.
"I heard you the first time." The old lady said whilst still staring down at her computer screen.
"Oh," was all I could let out.
The old lady gave me a side glance before looking back at her screen.
"Come closer dear, I don't bite." Another growl.
Wow, they really need to sort out this issue with wolves because A. It's scaring the hell out of me and B. It's not safe for the citizens. I mean wolves will hurt us humans if we're not careful!
I looked at the old lady again who seemed to be just typing away still.
Taking one long sigh, I looked behind me to see that Jackson was casually lounging on the chair; just like he promised, he would stay with me. How sweet!
Athena focus!!!
I looked ahead of me again and started to take tentative steps towards the oversized desk.
"Name." The lady demanded which initially made me jump back slightly.
"A-Athena Raine." I let out quietly.
The lady was then silent. The noise of her fingers taping down on her keyboard being the only sound that surrounded us.
"Jackson Whittemore, aren't you going to be late to lesson?"
I turned around and saw what seemed to be a teacher who looked absolutely stunning. She had long tanned legs which she showed off, perfect bouncy blonde curls, perfect makeup. How many guys and maybe girls have envisioned a sexual image with this beautiful specimen. I mean I'm not bi and I'm not a lesbian but damn if I was, I'd definitely want to hit that.
"Mrs. Lefu, I thought you were teaching a class." Jackson said nervously.
Mrs. Lefu gave Jackson a playful smirk, "I am indeed and I believe your with me." She said the last part more slowly making each word stand out. It's rather strange but seems meaningful.
I guess Jackson must have forgotten he had a lesson with her because the next thing I knew, jackson leaped out of his seat and was trailing behind Mrs. Lefu like a lost puppy.
