I pressed my head into Caspian's arm. Slowly, my eyes closed.
I felt at home, at peace, with him. I never felt that way with Ollie. I sucked in air. A tear trickled down my cheek, and my mind started to drift.
I loved being here and being free. I was without my family and Ollie, but I was happy.
Opening my eyes, I found myself on a hillside. I looked around and took in my surroundings, my gaze sweeping the landscape. A river stood in the distance, a forest at the crest of the hill.
"Hello," cooed a voice. I spun on my heel. I felt a rush of air on my thighs and I looked down. I was wearing a white tank top, white skirt, and a black silk jacket.
"What's going on?" I looked up. A man, dressed in an all-black suit, and a woman, dressed in a white sundress. Stood before me.
I recognized the hair of the women, bronze and smooth. The man had emerald eyes and a broad nose.
"You are Caspian and Bella's parents?" I lifted an eyebrow.
"Yes," the man, who had a soft pink scar wrapping around his face and throat, replied.
"Of course, you are," I murmured, bending my head. With a swift movement of my hand I pushed hair form my face, not. I folded my hands together.
"Are you happy?" the women's voice was soft and soothing.
"Yes," I didn't hesitate to answer, "I love your son."
"Have you..." the man began, but paused.
"Found myself?" I grinned.
"You could say that."
"Yes, I think I did."
My eyes blinked open. I looked up at Cas. He was sleeping, snoring loudly.
"I did find myself, in him."
