The start of a New Chapter

~Melanie's POV~

My alarm went off and I immediately opened my eyes; today was November 11th, 2014; my wedding day. I smile and sit up as I turn the alarm off. I get out of bed and grab my camera. "Ok, this is it, it's 6:00 in the morning and in just 6 hours I'll be getting married." I say as I walk out of my room. "I'm going to wake everyone up so they can get ready as well. Corin, Mari! Get up!" I say as I knock on their door. Next was Belle's room. "Time to get up!" I walk to Melissa's and knock on the door as well. "Time to get up you guys!" Lastly I walk to Kalel's, I knocked really lightly because Kaitlin could be sleeping. "Kalel we have to get ready!" All six of them exit their rooms; Kalel had Kaitlin in her arms. "I got them up! So now we have a wedding to dress for." I turn the camera off.

"Melanie, why are you waking us up?" Kalel asked.

"Because, I'm getting married today! We need to start getting ready. Now all of you take showers and be sure to towel dry your hair only." I say.

"Fine." Mari yawns. "I'll take one after Corin."

"Let's go, time is being wasted here people!" I run back into my room and take a shower. I get out, put my pajamas back on, and wrap my hair in a towel. I hear a knock on my door; It was my mom. "Hi mom!"

"Hi sweetheart." She says, giving me a hug. "Awe look at you, my only daughter is getting married!"

"I know mom. Come in and sit while everyone is done showering. My mom comes in and sits on my bed.

"So, where's Noah?"

"With Ian and the guys."

"And are they up as well?"

"No clue but they probably aren't. I mean all they have to do is take showers, fix their hair, and put on the tuxes and their done in like an hour and a half."

There was a knock on the door again; it was all of my lovely bridesmaids.. They all had their dresses with them. Corin's was a darker royal blue because she was the maid of honor. Melissa, Belle, Mari, and Kalel all had a lighter baby blue color dress. "Hey, let's get working on your nails!" Corin says. She hangs her dress in the closet and takes me hand. She sits me down at the desk and takes out her box of nail polish. "Ready!?"

"Yep!" I say. Corin is giving everyone French manicures because they are the simplest and go good with any color. She gave mine a sequin on my left ring finger. She finished and dried my nails in less than five minutes; she is amazing with a nail polish brush. "Ok, who's next?"

"Me!" Mari says, sitting in the chair.

I decided to turn my camera on the show my nails. "Guys, Corn just did my nails and they are amazing! Thank you!" I say, pointing the camera at my Nails then to Corin.

"Anything for Melly!" She says. I turn the camera off.

Kalel enters the room with Kaitlin and their dresses. "Sorry I'm late; Kaitlin was being a little cranky." She says.

"It's okay, i know what your going through." I say.

Kalel was about to close the door but she saw Ian's mom down the hall. "Hi Mrs. Hecox!"

Ian's mom walks in and Kalel closes the door. "Hi everyone." She says.

"Hi mom!" Melissa says.

"Hi dear. Oh Melanie come here!" I give his mom a hug. "I can't believe this day has come!"

"I know neither can I!" I say.

"Come on ladies, we have work to do!" My mom says. I see where i get it from.
