Watching her leave, Stacks let out a groan, his body and mind feeling weird, throwing foreign emotions around inside of him that he couldn't define, having never experienced them before. "WAIT!" Stacks yelled before he realized he was doing so, bolting after Mia quickly. "Wait! Wait! Mia! Please wait!" he shouted, vaulting over the bench and shrubs, becoming embarrassingly tangled in them as she turned to meet him. "Mia look," he said, heat flaring in his face as he tried to yank his leg out from the bush, ripping his already dirty and torn pants further in the process. Jerking his leg with all his might, Stacks fell forward, slamming onto the concrete at Mia's feet. Pain flaring in him, he rolled over, groaning softly. However, as a giggle echoed down at him from Mia, Stacks' eyes flew open, first snapping instantly onto the fact he could see directly up her skirt.
"Oh, you're horrible!" Mia snapped, tearing Stacks back into reality as she kicked out at his shoulder, tightening her dress to her legs, not laughing anymore. "Leave me alone," she demanded, backing up as he jumped into a stand, holding his skinned knee.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! It was just... I mean, I tried," he offered weakly, frowning pathetically at her irate look. "I'm sorry! Look, I'm really, really, really... I mean I'm super high right now," he explained, holding out his hands as if this justified his actions. "I know, I know... I mean. Okay. Fuck. I just.... look, the truth is, I'm super lonely," Stacks admitted, rubbing his face agitatedly. "I never had any friends either until the two I do now but one is all the fucking way across the country and the other one just found his best friend again so I'm sort of chopped liver here. I'm all by my fucking self most of the time and there's nothing to do. I almost miss Jetty when he was screwing around with his ex because at least I gotta see him more," he pouted, pulling his hands away from his eyes. "I mean, whatever, Kas is 'so dope' or whatever, but he's a fucking dick when he's high and like Jetty, that's all the time. I feel like their little annoying brother and I am. I just, I want a friend that's mine. Reap is cool with Jetty hanging around Kasper because Reaps chill with anything, plus Kas likes him because he doesn't fucking talk and I 'talk like someone pulled my string so hard it broke and now I won't shut up'," he grumbled, knowing it was the truth. Had Jetty said it, Stacks knew he would have found it hilarious but now, he was angry, upset at the tattooist for taking away one of his best and only friends. "I've never had a friend my age... so it's cool you have yours but I'm jealous. I miss mine," Stacks murmured softly, leaning back against the wall. "But it's cool. Like I shouldn't even be talking to you, I really, really fucking shouldn't and I'm no good. You're right, I'm only fourteen and a half and I do everything I shouldn't. I drink, I smoke, I get high... I'll probably try to have sex with you a ton because you're fucking gorgeous," he said, watching Mia's expression for any change. Grimacing when there was none, Stacks rubbed the back of his neck. "I'll try to be nice? I'm not nice though and I don't know what I'm doing right now because I don't talk this much. I mean I do but I don't talk like this and I'm really fucking confused but mainly I just know I don't want you to go?" he rambled quickly. "I know, you wanna get out of here? I know the best places for food. Seriously!" he smiled, perking up brightly. "I could eat a fucking horse!"
Biting her lip again, Mia's eyes narrowed on Stacks, sizing him up somewhat after his rambling speech. Slowly, she opened her mouth, "If you're going to be my friend you have to promise not to be rude about Finn ever again or I won't talk to you," she demanded after a second, the boy's eyes brightening considerably. "I mean it. He's my best friend in all the wide world and if you ever are mean about him, I'll hit you and never, ever, ever talk to you again," she continued, the threat holding all the weight behind it she could muster.
"I promise! I promise! I'll shut up about him," Stacks nodded frantically, doing his best not to run his mouth as even then he wanted to say something, knowing the feat would be harder than he wanted to admit or think about. "Cross my heart, hope to die and stick a needle in my eye. Hey! Maybe I could be friends with this Finn dude too!" he suggested, smiling encouragingly.
