CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

THEO POV

Today, Gabriel invited us to a BBQ party.

But remembering the last BBQ party we got that time...Hmph!

-"Theo, let's go have dinner" I heard Gabriel say.

I lifted my eyes from the E-mail to look at the edge of the desktop to see it was already 12:15.

-"That's why I can't focus on my work!" I said with a smile.

-"Sure, you work hard, you deserve a rest" she said while walking behind me.

I felt a soothing hands on my shoulders, and I groaned as started to feel relaxed, I melted in in my seat, and started to doze off when I felt a pinch to my side and straightened up suddenly.

-"Don't you dare" she whispered by my ear and walked to the door.

-"Let's go, dinner is waiting" she said and crossed her hands to her chest.

Looking at her properly, she wasn't wearing the same clothes she came with this morning.

She was wearing a beautiful baby blue dress, her hair was styled wavy, and she was putting on a light lipstick and a humble eyeliner in a thin line that made her more beautiful.

We walked to the elevator, and instead of pushing the garage button, she went for the rooftop.

-"Gabriel" I said.

-"Shut" she said with a light smile.

Once we reached the rooftop, I found a huge surprise.

A glass house for flowers, it was as if it came straight from Disney, the flowers inside were all beautiful white roses, the wood that was used in building it was a dark grey one, with the transparent glass and white roses, it was amazing.

-"You did this?" I asked amazed.

-"Yeah! I built it the same day I started working here, and took care of the roses everyday" she said with a smile.

-"You worked hard congratulations!" I said and clapped my hands.

-"You like it?" She asked.

-"I love it" I said and gave her a warm smile.

-"It's my gift to you, a place where you can relax from all the stress and work, I'm giving you a small world on top of your world so you can escape from time to time" she said and walked to the door to the glasshouse.

Opening it, she rushed me inside, it was so warm and cozy, the smell of flowers so relaxin...and the smell of food!

I noticed a small table for two in the middle, there was two plates covered like in a high class restaurant, the decor was fancy and so was the surroundings.

-"Wow!" I said amazed.

-"have a seat please" she said directing me to the chair.

Once I was seated, she pulled the fancy covers off the dishes, and the meal was exposed.

A fancy Risotto with white scallops of fish on top, and a Caesar salad and some beautiful bread buns, and I knew she made all of this by herself.
