I'm going to use USD prices for money bc I have no clue how won or whatever works and I don't care to find out so :) also, this chapter has some petty sensitive material so here's your warning.

edit: I have the ending finally done so I'm just going to post all of the rest of the chapters over the next few days, if not all today.

Taehyung tossed back and forth as he tried to get situated on the couch. Not only was it the least comfortable thing he'd probably ever slept on, but Jungkook refused to give him any pillows and made him use a really scratchy blanket. He refused to give in, though. His lips may be turning blue and his back might hurt like hell in the morning, but anything was better than sleeping in the same bed as Jungkook.

He had gotten away with only eating half of his dinner that night, Jungkook seeming to ease up a little on his eating recently. As a result of him eating so little after a few days of eating three full meals, he was actually hungry. This hunger just ended up being another factor in his restless night.

He figured it was probably an hour past midnight by the time he was finally able to go to sleep; and even that didn't last too long. He woke up about four hours later, even colder and hungrier than he was before.

"There's got to be something I can cover up with," he muttered, pushing himself off of his bed and embarking on his journey around the small cabin in search of literally any fabric that could shield him from the cold.

There weren't many rooms, the layout only consisting of the living room, an open kitchen with a small dining table basically inside of it, a bathroom, and the only bedroom. There was actually a fireplace in the living room but Jungkook refused to allow Taehyung to light it, saying he didn't trust him enough around anything he could hurt himself with.

"Ridiculous," he scoffed at the memory, standing in the middle of the kitchen after searching every inch of the cabin for any sort of blanket- all except one room. He was saving the bedroom for last, hoping he wouldn't have to go in it. He tip-toed to the door, which was already slightly ajar, and pushed it the rest of the way open, cringing when the hinges let out a quiet screech.

He examined the entire room, no blankets in sight except for the ones on Jungkook's body. What he did see, though, was a jacket hanging on the back of the chair. He figured it was Jungkook's but at this point that didn't matter to him. He slowly made his way over to the chair, his hand grasping onto the edge of the jacket as he carefully pulled it off.

"Give in already?" A sleepy voice asked, causing Taehyung to jerk his head in the direction of the source. He saw Jungkook rub his eyes and sit up, giving him an expectant look.

"In your dreams." Taehyung held out the jacket. "I'm freezing to death so I came in here to see if there was anything to at least postpone my imminent hypothermia."

"You know," Jungkook started. "Other human beings are great sources of heat, so I'd be glad to help you out."

"I'd rather die, thanks." Taehyung tucked the jacket under his arm and turned around, leaving the room and closing the door behind him.

He went into the living room and lied back down on the way-too-firm couch, wrapping the coat around his shoulders before pulling the thin, scratchy blanket over his body. He could smell Jungkook's cologne on the jacket, a somewhat fruity, citrusey scent traveling to his nose. If he didn't know who it belonged to he might have actually enjoyed the scent.

Taehyung woke up to the sound of something falling, followed by a string of curses. He groaned and buried his face into the cushions of the couch, wincing when he felt a sharp pain in his neck. He sat up and tried to stretch it out, ended up accomplishing nothing. He forced himself to his feet, pushing both the jacket and the blanket off of him, and walked to the small island separating the kitchen/dining room from the living room.
