(A/N: I've been WERKing NON-STOP on this chapter, so thank you for WAITing FOR IT! Ahh, I'll never be SATISFIED. I just want you to know, I'd be HELPLESS without you guys. Sorry, I'll stop. But please, just ONE LAST TIME? THAT WOULD BE ENOUGH. If your gonna stop reading this story because of me, trust me, YOU'LL BE BACK. Sorry, I was so caught up in my puns, I wasn't paying attention, so WHAT'D I MISS? Alright I'm done, but ONE LAST question: WHO LIVES, WHO DIES, WHO TELLS YOUR STORY? I'm done.)
Before, you left your home, you wanted to speak with your parents one last time. You grabbed a piece of parchment from your satchel and your quill, and screwed open the nearly finished ink canister on your desk.
My parents,
I am sorry. Not really, because you are horrible people, but I couldn't take it. If we ever meet again someday, which is only a matter of time, I hope you will be able to forgive me. The same goes for me to you. Hopefully you will learn your lesson. Again, I am truly, deeply, extremely sorry. Not exactly.
Love, (Y/N)
You signed it in your best cursive, and dropped it on your desk, watching it for awhile before turning back to your window, held ajar. You were somewhat confident in this letter, it was a gruesome goodbye, but your parents need to learn. You heaved a deep sigh before hopping out onto the ground on the other side. It was quite the hassle, since your room was on the second floor. But, you were able to carefully land in a tall shrub. You brushed the dirt off your dress, and stepped out of the bush. You looked back up at your window, and softly whispered,
"Goodbye, one last time."
Then you ran.
{TIME SKIP}
You arrived in London Harbor. (A/N: I don't care if that's not a thing) You searched hopefully for your one and only's face. You contacted Samuel with letters during your long, uncomfortable boat trip and told him to meet you in London Harbor when you would show up.
"(Y/N)!" Samuel voice called above the rest of the chatter on the dock.
"Samuel!" You cried, racing over to him and hugging him tightly.
"Hey! Before we go, I need to ask you some questions." He said seriously.
"Alright," You responded nervously.
"Number 1; Why did you leave me hanging at the party? Am I not enough?" He asked, hurt showing in his voice.
You winced and quickly responded,
"My parents. I was afraid of them getting mad at me. I mean, that's why I ran away in the first place,"
"Number 2 was going to be why you ran away, so Number 3, which I just came up with," Samuel continued, "Why are you scared of your parents?"
"They always fought and were extremely strict. I had just gotten into trouble before I ran away and was stressed to a maximum." You said, recalling the "horrible" events of a few weeks ago.
Samuel frowned with sympathy for you. "Last question, 4," He paused awkwardly.
"Samuel?" You asked softly.
"W-would y-you do m-me the honor of b-being a-able to c-court y-you?" (A/N: Courting is the old term for dating.)
"Y-yes! Of course!" You exclaimed happily.
"Heh," Samuel blushed, a soft rosy color forming on his cheeks.
You two just stand there until Samuel grabs your hand and starts taking you somewhere.
"Where are we going?" You ask him curiously.
"My house." He responded nonchalantly.
"Alright then." You sighed.
"Anything wrong?" He looked at you with a worried expression.
"Nope!" You immediately perked up.
"Good," Samuel smiled and tugged you along faster, till you were practically running.
{TIME SKIP}
It took you a little while, but you reached Samuel's quaint little home by the water.
"This is nice!" You exclaimed while observing every corner of Samuel's house.
"I don't know... I did it my by myself, so it doesn't look very great. The interior, not the actual house." Samuel shrugged.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME? CAN'T YOU JUST TAKE A COMPLIMENT?!" You sighed dramatically, and seeing Samuel's horrified face, you laughed.
"I'm just kidding!" You gently tapped his nose. (A/N: This is something my best friend would do, since (Y/N) is based off my best friend, so... Sorry if it's weird.)
You laughed together, until you felt you couldn't laugh anymore. After that, you decided to sit down and enjoy some tea and crumpets. The rest of the night was spent laughing, playing, and setting up. Soon, you were prepared and exhausted. You fell asleep next to Samuel in his drawing room (A/N: Drawing Room = old timey Living Room term) on his couch. What a splendid day.
(A/N: Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. OOOOOOOOOOH, I'M FINALLY FINISHED WITH THIS CHAAAAAAAAPTER. HEEEEEY! Sorry. This took me FOREVER!
