Chapter 5

Bella's P.O.V.

After yelling at Jake we went back inside, I went to grab Renesmee from Rose when I realized she didn't have her. "Where is she?" I asked. "Come look." She said. We followed her into the living room, looking at the couch I saw the most adorable sight. Caila laid on her back on the couch, Renesmee laying on her chest with a blanket over them, both sound asleep. "Oh my god." Alice came in with a camera & snapped the perfect photo of the two. "That is getting framed." She said excitedly. Renesmee started stirring so I raced over to grab her before she woke Caila up. Suddenly, I could hear the blood pumping in Caila's neck & I could practically smell her blood. I started to lose my control so I let Renesmee back down & ran out of the house to hunt.

Caila's P.O.V.

I felt this sudden rush of wind & jumped up holding Renesmee close. "What the hell?!" I yelled. Rose took Renesmee & sat next to me. "She must have been thirsty & not realized it." I felt my neck & could feel my heart racing. Suddenly I felt calm, I looked over to Jasper to see him staring at me. "Thank you Jazz." He nodded & came back over, pushing me down by my shoulder. "Go back to sleep, it'll do you some good." I nodded laying down & closing my eyes. After what felt like seconds I felt myself being lifted into someone's arms. I opened my eyes & saw it was dark outside. "Go back to sleep darlin'." I heard jasper's soft voice say. I slowly nodded & leaned my head into his chest. He kicked my door open & laid my on my bed, he grabbed my feet, slipping my socks off & swinging my legs under the cover before pulling them over me. I felt his cold lips on my head before I heard my door shut, that was the last thing I heard all night.

~Next morning~

Slowly my eyes opened to reveal a sliver of sunlight coming in through my window. I looked at my clock on the wall before sitting up, realizing it was 6:30 a.m. My door opened slowly, turning over I saw Bella in my doorway with Renesmee. "Say good morning to aunt Kay Kay!" She said bringing Renesmee over to sit on my bed. Laying her on her back, Renesmee rolled over & crawled over to me. My eyes widened in shock.

Sitting up I swooped her into my arms  smiling at her small giggle. "You are 4 days old! Your not allowed to crawl & grow on me!" Bella smiled. "She's growing so fast, im worried about how long we're actually going to have with her." Bella said & I nodded. "All I can say is make the most out of the time we have!" I said. Looking at Renesmee I smiled at her. "Surely that'll give me enough time to teach you that aunt Kay Kay is your FAVORITE!" I told her. "NO YOUR NOT!" I heard Rosalie yell. Laughing I handed her back to Bella before getting up & getting ready.

After I got ready I headed down to the dining room where my mom sat a plate of pancakes & bacon on the table & I joined everyone. Suddenly Edward & Bella came in, "Wow! Done already?" Bella blew off his question. "Where's Renesmee?" She asked. As Jake stared out the window he answered her. " Blondie stole her." "Break a lot of stuff?" Emmett asked, causing me to choke on my pancake. "Emmett. No." Bella said as Jake patted my back & I stuck my hands above my head to open my airways. Suddenly the house phone gave a high pitched ring & we all stared at it. "Charlie?" Bella asked. "He's in pretty rough shape." Jake said. "Eventually we'll have to tell him you didn't make it." I sat back from my food at that. "He needs to mourn, Bella." Edward told her. She nodded before retreating back into his arms. "Okay, we'll do it tomorrow." Emmett stood up. "I'm gonna miss this place." "We'll come back, we always do." Dad said.  Suddenly I felt anger radiating from Jake as he snapped at my family before leaving the house to go god knows where.

"Where are we going to go?" Bella suddenly asked. "Well since Caila has always lived here & Alaska, me & Esme decided to let her pick." I smiled at him. "Really?" I asked. He nodded. "I'm assuming you've done some thinking on it." He stated & I nodded, knowing exactly where to go. "Oh hell, here we go." Edward said. "Russia! St. Petersburg to be more specific!" I stated excitedly. "You just want to visit the winter palace!" Emmett yelled. "DAMN RIGHT I DO!" I said standing up. "Why Russia?" Bella asked. "That's where mom & dad found me, on the outskirts of St. Petersburg! If I go back maybe I can figure out who my real parents were & find out who killed them & why!" My dad smiled. "You know finding that out is a long shot right?" Dad asked. I nodded. "But I think it's worth a shot, don't you?" I asked him. "We'll help you sweetie, whatever you need." Mom said kissing my cheek. Smiling I hugged her before hugging my dad & running up to my room for some research.
