My hands shook as I wrote on the piece of paper on my desk. We were supposed to write a quick story about... OH GOSH!!! What was I writing about again??
I began to panic and my hand scribbled over the paper making long lines. I quickly lifted my hand but my hands continued to shake. I swallowed hard trying to calm myself. I needed coffee.
I reached my body over and grabbed a long bottle out of my backpack. The sweet smell of coffee made me begin to relax. I opened the bottle and took a long sip. I felt the hot liquid cleanse my throat from the dry state it had been in before. My hands shook less but it was in a more controllable state. I mean, not matter what when I write it's always going to come out shaky. It's something I've come to know and get used to.
"Is that coffee?" A kid beside me asked. I looked beside me seeing a kid with brown hair. He also had a red jacket on with blue gloves. "Y-yeah." I said getting nervous that he was talking to me.
"Can I have some? My throat hurts." The kid asked me. I handed him the bottle unable to tell him yes. The kid opened the cap and drank as much as he could handing it back to me half empty.
"Thanks. My names Clyde by the way." The kid told me. He scratched his head with a shaky, apologetic smile. "Sorry about drinking so much.. I wasn't able to drink any water for a long time."
I looked at him. What am I supposed to say. I mean he just drank some of my coffee or, drank most of it, but I didn't really care. I could find a way to make it through the rest of the day with just a little bit of coffee left.
Suddenly the loud sound of the bell made everyone jump up for lunch. "We'll finish this up after lunch so don't get excited." Mr. Garrison told us and then continued his little conversation with Mr. Hat.
My and Clyde jumped down from our seats. "Hey, why don't you sit with me and I can introduce you to the group?" Clyde suggested to me. I looked at him. That was way better than me just going outside to recess instead of eating. I smiled. "Alright." I said shaking as I thought about meeting new people. Fuck.
I got my food and then we sat down at a table and waited Clyde's friends to show up. "They usually have me wait at the table while they fetch Craig from counseling." Clyde told me when he noticed I was looking around.
I knew he had friends. Clyde seemed like a trustable kid. But where were they? Why did fetching some troublesome kid take so long? I didn't want to be friends with someone who gets in trouble. Oh no thanks. That is way to much pressure. Plus, father told me kids only get in trouble because they are attention whores. And nobody likes those.
Right after that thought, three children came into sight and set their trays on the table. "Who's this?" A black tough looking kid asked Clyde while pointing at me. I felt myself begin to shake not knowing who the heck these kids were.
"Oh! Hey T-T-Tweek!" A voice I recognized said. I looked over the black kids shoulder to see someone I'd thought I'd never see again. "H-Hello Jimmy." I gave him a small wave.
"You two know each other?" Clyde looked at me. I nodded while Jimmy told Clyde, "I m-met him wh-when he f-f-f-first arrived."
"Well then, I guess he isn't a bother. My names Token." The black kid, known as Token introduced himself and then sat down as Jimmy did. I gazed at the last kid. He gazed down at me. I looked at him. I recognized those blue eyes. The kid seemed to recognize me as well but just sat down and began to eat.
I picked up a fry off my plastic tray and bit it. I felt my taste buds and teeth hating me as I chewed the snow cold fry and swallowed it. I looked at the rest of my food and felt disgust fall over me. If hell would I ever eat the food hear again. No matter how hungry I was.
The other kids began to chat except for the boy I yet to get a name from. Was he just the quiet kid in the group?
"So Tweek?"
I looked up from my meal to gaze at whoever was speaking to me. "Yeah Token?" I said wondering if I said his name right along with wondering if I did something wrong.
'Where did you come from?" Token asked me. I felt my body begin to shake as all the kids that were once talking turned their heads to me. I felt my body begin to twitch a lot. I swallowed hard trying not to embarrass myself in front of such confident people.
"I-I used to l-live in Seattle. But w-we got sold out b-by Harbucks.." I explained. "Seattle?!" Clyde gasped, clearly impressed for some reason. "W-Well I can see how you could get s-s-s-s-sold out by them. Seattle is a popular place. It's only for rich p-people." Jimmy said. "Like Token." The kid who hadn't spoken this whole time said making everyone except me laugh.
"Your rich." I questioned looking at Token. "Yeah. Me and my family live in a mansion at the edge of the neighborhood near the better looking forest." Token explained. "Walking to his house is always a pain." Clyde groaned patting his legs. "Y-You just hate walking." Jimmy glanced at Clyde.
"Yeah."
"Hey guys." Two kids walked to the table I sat at and said. "Hi Stan." All of the kids said. Only Clyde said, "Hi Cartman."
"After school are you guys down to play the Stick of Truth?" The kid apparently known as Stan asked. "We made plans to hang at my house today." Token told the two boys. "Who the fuck is that?" Cartman, who was a fat kid that gave off that, "My ego is so big you could jump off and die," feeling. I didn't want to be around him.
"This is Tweek. He's new here." Clyde introduced me to the fat kid and Stan. "Well feel free to join us Tweek because I doubt these guys even remembered to invite you along with them." Stan said kindly to me. "Ac-Actually I can't. I have to get back to the café and work straight after school." I told them.
"Work? Dude your like nine years old." Cartman stared at me making me feel really anxious. "My dad owns Tweek Bros and I'm forced to help him out." I told all the children around me. "Dude, we can stop by and grab you if you don't want to work. You could totally hand with us dude." Token told me with a smile. "That sounds nice." I gazed at the table with a soft smile.
"Well then it's settled. After school we'll hang."
Larch, Imma try to update everyday. How does that sound.
K bye
