Quick Recovery

Hinata's P.O.V~

Neji went back to the battle field, so me and Naruto could have a chance to talk alone.

Naruto was desperately trying to sit up, while his face cringed after ever move. I try to help him and I put a pillow behind his back to support him.

"So why did you do it?"

" At the moment, I needed to protect you and Neji, but the spear was flying so fast that the only thing I could do was block it."

In my head I sighed an awe, and I guess it should on my face what I was thinking.

" I know, I'm cute, right?" Naruto half smiled and I returned a small smile back to him. It's kinda funny how only a couple minutes ago, I was on the edge of a mental breakdown and now I'm smiling. Naruto's the only guy that can do that to me....

" Oh, yeah. I was wondering, what was it like, ya'know almost dying." Surprisingly enough, he had to think. Did he forget that quickly?

" In a word, it was lonely."

"Lonely? How?" I never had a near death experience before.

"Well I was all alone in a wide open space, but everything was white."

I stayed silent as I tried to imagine it, I guess it would seem pretty lonely,

" So do you know what's going on, on the battlefield?" Sadly, I didn't. I was too wrapped up in the whole 'My boyfriends gonna die' thing.

" I kinda zoned out, after what happened."

"Oh, that's alright." Naruto jumped out the bed and pulled all of his bandages off that surrounded his stomach.

He didn't even have a scar!

He put his shirt and cloak back on, he then turned around to find me glaring at him.

"Listen, I'm fine! I heal fast, that's all!"
He held his hands up in defense.

"Are you sure you're okay? I mean you kinda just got a spear removed from your abdomen."

"I'm fine! And besides, I'm more useful out there." He grabbed my hand and led me towards the door of the tent.

When we were about to leave the tent, and enter complete chaos.... He-he kissed me, then he smiled and led me out of the tent.

He's got to stop catching me of guard like that, it's not fair.

We made our way through the crowd, Naruto still holding my hand. We found Obito talking to the crowd of people, trying to get them to give up. Obito turns to see me and Naruto.

"Oh, you're still alive? Maybe I should have tried harder, you are quite persistent." Naruto had a determined look in his eye, without saying anything, he controlled the chakra of the kyubi, turning his body, and my own bright yellow.

He leaped away, aiming all of his attacks on Obito. I looked around to see Madera close by, I look at the chakra that Naruto surrounded me in and felt that I had to do something. I ran towards Madera, hoping that I could be of some use, and hopefully take him down.

Naruto's P.O.V~

I waited until Obito tried to dodge my last attack and then I aimed a rasengun at his back, so it would be able to hit him. His face slammed against the hard rock...... looks like I was right. Out of the corner of my eye I see Hinata standing in front of Madera, she's in a fighting stance and it looks like she's about to make her first attack.

I made eye contact with Kiba as if my eyes were saying ' keep her safe' he nodded and went to help her fight.
