Nico couldn't wait. Will had been home at his mom's house since winter. School and stuff. They didn't even talk together. And today, today he's coming back to camp, back to Nico.
Nico ran out from his cabin and forwards Thalia's tree. He could see the camp bus. He froze. Will wasn't there. Kayla and Austin was crying. No. It can't be true. Will is okay. He is okay. He isn't okay.
Nico could feel the tears in his eyes. "Where's Will?" He asked.
"I'm sorry Nico..." Said Chiron. He stood between Nico and the bus.
"Where. Is. Will." He almost yelled.
"He didn't make it. I'm sorry Nico." Tried Chiron.
"No. No t-that isn't true! He's okay! He's okay..." Nico cried, trying to convince himself. But he knew it. Will wasn't okay. He would never be okay again.
It was late, almost night. Nico was still crying and begging Hades for just let him see Will one last time. "Please, I'll do anything for you, just let me see him, talk to him one last time..." He cried.
He was crying himself into sleep. In his dream he saw Hades. "Hi Nico. You want to talk to Will?" He asked.
"Yes please!" Cried Nico. Out of nowhere came Will in front of Nico.
"Nico..." Breath Will. He pulled Nico into a hug. "I'm so, so sorry... I love you... I'm sorry Nico..." He whispered.
Nico couldn't handle it. He kissed Will like never before. Crying like never before. "Why..." Was everything he could say.
"Guys? It's morning and Nico you are beginning to wake up. Sorry." Said Hades and Nico woke up. Crying.
