Mortal AU part 1

Nico was nervous. He had been so stupid not to come out of the closet, only to get a boyfriend no one knew he had. Will Solace, the boy of his dreams.

And of course had they been home at each others houses, met each others families and of course had Nico told Will that his family didn't knew and it was supposed to stay that way.

But then his mom broke into his room while he was scrolling through Tumblr.

"Nico! I told you to clean your room a thousand times! Do you have any idea of how messy it-"

"Yes, I know!" Nico cut her off. He really didn't need that talk again right now. He was having a terrible headache.

"Okay, but take on some proper clothes, we're going out. Bianca is already wearing her dress and made her hair and I invited Will-" Maria began again.

"Okay okay, I'll take on some clothes, just stay out of my room!" Some people would probably call Nico rude, but he was acting naturally for a troubled 14 year old.

Maria sighed. "Just be down in 15 minutes." Then she closed the door and walked away.

Nico sighed and turned off his laptop. If course she had invited Will. She always did. She had basically adopted him by this point. "You are like brothers!" She said that too often. Nico and Will cringed always, but she never noticed.

A few moments later, he was wearing a black pair of skinny jeans, a black My Chemical Romance Welcome To The Black Parade t shirt and a black hoodie.

When they drove into the parking lot, they noticed Will standing besides his bike, waving at them. Nico was the only one who knew he was waving at him. That made a small smile creep onto his lips.

When they entered the restaurant and got a table, Will was sat between Bianca and the wall. Nico was against the wall and his mother.

"So, William, don't you have a lovely girlfriend? If so, I would think it would be great to bring her next time." Maria smiled.

Nico's jaw dropped. He was ready to just scream; "I'M GAY!" and kiss Will.

But he didn't.

He just sat there, about to cry.

"Actually, no. I don't have a girlfriend." Will smiled nervously.

"Ah, my dear daughter Bianca doesn't either!" Maria laughed a bit. "What a coincidence!"

Bianca looked uncomfortable. Will looked uncomfortable.

And Nico? Silent crying. Will noticed and quickly excused himself, got up and asked if him and Maria could switch seats. Maria, confused, agreed. Then Will sat as close to Nico as he could, to Maria's wondering, and kissed his tear stained cheek.

Maria almost gasped. What was Will thinking? Nico turned to Will with a small smile, and kissed him. On the nose.

Then he turned to his mother and said "Mom... I... I'm gay."

Maria got up, and got Nico to do so too.

Then she hugged him close.

"Nico, my little Nico, it's okay. Nico, look at me. It's okay. I'm so proud of you Nico. So proud." She kissed him on his black mess of a hair, but kept holding him close.

After a while they separated and Maria smiled at Will. "I am so sorry I didn't see it. So I assume you're dating my son, William?" She said with a smug smile.

Will blushed and to make things worse, Nico walked over and sat in his lap. "Uhm... Yeah... Yeah, we're dating..."

Let's just say Will and Nico had more often sleep overs after that.
