it's been three months since i last wrote.
three months since i lost hope.
a month since i decided to give life one last try.
because of someone i didnt even know.
hyungieboy .
who is he? why does he want to help me? why did he succeed?
apparently i'm only allowed to ask questions on his identity once a month. the first month i asked the reason why he decided to contact me. he only said
"you're the one who messaged me though,"
"but you're the one who made me dm you!"
"sorry, question time's over. until next month, then"
and so the next month came. i asked him when i knew him, and what my age was. he said,
"we were kids, you and i. we know each other from our childhoods"
and today is the third month.

sighing, i shut my diary and pick up my phone. i go to his account, staring at his username, intensely.
what should i ask?
i remember the first night we texted. i asked him why his username was 'hyungieboy' and he only explained the 'hyungie' part. i wonder what's behind the 'boy'. not every guy i know goes around with a name like that.
there must be a story behind it.

me: hey
its the third month

hyungieboy: ah yes

what does the 'boy' in your username mean?

hyungieboy: people call me honeyboy
the people that know me of course
and they call me hyungie too
hyungie sounds like honey
so i combined them:')

me: why do they call you honeyboy ??

hyungieboy: because i'm really sweet to everyone
well partly
partly because they think i look good. my hair and my tan are similar to the shade of honey

me: you're sweet ???

hyungieboy: surprised?
me too
dont worry
im not very sweet in reality
its an image; an act
the only one im good at, too
i cant pull off anything else

but hes been sweet to me too, just a few times... does that mean he didnt mean it to me either when that happened?

me: when will you ever tell me what your name is?

hyungieboy: why do you want to know so much about me?

me: because i want to be friends with you

hyungieboy: :')
