SCENE EIGHTEEN: MASAKU, BASEMENT
Naninatso walks to the elevator across from him and calls for the shaft. 'Who'd ever think it was possible to get bound before unleashing your ONE?'
The elevator opens up, he steps inside, and calls for the first floor. As he waits to reach the first floor he thinks, 'But there's nothing to worry about, I've got full faith in you Shikauhno. I know you're the kind of person that can rise to the occasion.'
A small smile spreads across his face. Suddenly he puts his hand to his mouth to stop himself from smiling as he blushes.
The elevator makes it to the first floor and opens up.
He slowly puts his hand down and mumbles to himself, "You can't be serious." He shakes his head as if to shake the thought away and makes his way outside of MAsaku.
He locks the door behind him, "It's almost time for my lap around the city."
SCENE NINETEEN: SPIRITUAL BIND REALM
Saku continues to walk on as Shikauhno walks by her side, "Being bound one of two things will generally happen: As a result of conquering yourself, you will gain new and/or improved powers. If you fail to do so, you will gain nothing and only grow weaker from your original state. And as a result, fighting will be an even greater challenge than it already is. The entire meaning or goal of being Bound is to accept, overcome, and gain."
SCENE TWENTY: MASAKU, PHYSICAL WORLD
Saku continues, "However, there is something you need to know: it is highly unusual, in fact, unprecedented for anyone to become bound preceding the achievement of their ONE. So I must warn you; in your specific case..."
SCENE TWENTY-ONE: SPIRITUAL BIND REALM
"...If you fail to subdue your Other I'm afraid you'll be in jeopardy of permanently losing all of your powers before you've truly gained them. And there's no guarantee of what might happen to you physically as a result."
An object from several feet away comes into Shikauhno's view as Saku says, "I've covered all the basis with you, it's up to you now. And remember, you can do all things through God, that is where our underlying strength dwells. Godspeed, Shikauhno. We're with you."
Saku's image disappears before Shikauhno.
SCENE TWENTY TW0: OUTSIDE OF MASAKU
Naninatso exits MAsaku.
A burly man is jogging with his gray and white shih tzu; his feet hit the pavement at a steady pace.
SFX: RUNNING FOOTSTEPS
As he passes Naninatso they both give each other a tacit nod. The shih tzu turns his attention to Naninatso and begins barking; the jogger tugs at the leash to quiet his dog.
Naninatso says to himself, 'It's been really calm today. Thought it was supposed to storm.'
Suddenly, a strong gust of wind passes through. Naninatso put his arm up to block his face from the blast of wind.
The man's footsteps cease, the dog's bark ceases, and everything becomes quiet.
Naninatso glances behind him.
The dog is seemingly staring at Nani with its mouth wide open. And the jogger is still tugging at the leash however, neither of them are moving.
Naninatso shouts to the man, "Hey, you alright?"
The man doesn't respond.
As Naninatso approaches the man and dog they both remain still like dolls.
Nani touches the man's shoulder and calls again, "Hey."
Still, the man doesn't respond or move an inch.
Naninatso proceeds to place his middle and index finger against the man's neck to check his pulse.
Naninatso is taken aback with confusion and astonishment. He proceeds to squat to check the dog, the dog simply keeps its mouth wide open.
SCENE TWENTY THREE: BOUND SPIRITUAL REALM
Shikauhno approaches a mirror leaning against the wall and stares at her reflection.
Her reflection begins growing younger and younger until she appears to be a young child.
Her younger reflection has a sad and lonely look on her face. She begins crying silently. She is holding her left arm up to her chest. Blood begins leaking from it.
Shikauhno lowers herself so she is leveled with the younger her and reaches out to herself. "Don't cry."
Taking notice, her younger reflection wipes her tears and reaches out to Shikauhno. Shikauhno places both hands on the mirror, as her reflection does. As soon as her hands touch the mirror, her reflected younger self pulls her in.
SCENE TWENTY FOUR: MASAKU INFIRMARY
Saku is dabbing Shikauhno's face with a towel. She sets the towel down and picks up her drink, "I need a refill. Can you take over?"
Maku nods his head, and takes up the towel. Before he can dab Shikauhno's face the house phone bolted onto the wall rings.
Maku and Saku exchange glances and she hurriedly picks the phone up, "Nani?"
The camera splits in two and shows Naninatso and Saku simultaneously.
"I think we have another situation."
The camera goes full screen and shows Naninatso's surroundings.
He is resting his arm on someone's car, leaning through the window. The window is rolled all the way down.
The driver is looking ahead, not moving or blinking. The car is also motionless.
There are people crossing the street but they aren't moving. There are also a few cars with people inside that aren't moving. The traffic lights turn from red to green.
END CREDITS SCENE:
The man bearing the cross from earlier on is still walking through the forest. He comes to a clearing that leads him to a river.
A voice begins to narrate, "They were the first of the first fallen angels to ever walk the length of the primitive earth."
He has his book in his hand and opens it to random page.
His mouth moves though the noise in the scene is silent. The camera views him from afar off.
"They were the foremost reason why the Remnant of old was formed. In the midst of warfare, the mighty fallen angels were cut down, though their demise was temporal. Yea, an age-long space of time, but impermanent nonetheless. They were 12 mighty angels of God: Cherubim and Seraphim by nomenclature; and they are the 12 Apostles of Lucifer."
He steps foot onto the surface of the water and he doesn't sink. He pulls his cross along and walks slowly yet surely across the surface of the water. The surface ripples.
The camera then slowly pans out from the man then to a far view of Ryojima city.

Nani calls for REI, he slides his finger along one of the strings, "REI." The string on Angelus unravels and turns into a long, thick, red chain.
The man reaches into his cloak and pulls out his book.
REI shoots towards the man's face rapidly, right before REI strikes the man looks up expectantly and flips to a blank page in the book, holding it open. Naninatso stops REI just before it can hit the man's face and slowly redraws it.
