Alex the bully had become quite a jock. He had lost all of his chubbiness he used to have a large a kid. He was now tall and musclar with slicked back blond hair and icy blue eyes.

Charlie and Selena we're having milkshakes at a small restaurant and doing their homework together.

They were having a great time until Alex walked up to their booth.

"Oh, hey Alex." Selena said, emotionless. Alex frowned.

He sat down at the end of the bench that Selena was sitting on and slid down, pushing Selena with his hip. Then he put his arm around her. Charlie snarled. He chuckled and said, "is this a date?"

Selena scooted farther down the bench to try and get away from him. But he just scooted down with her and soon she just gave up.

Charlie scowled at Alex. "No." He answered. Alex rolled his eyes. "When are you going to make a move nerd?" He asked.

Charlie ignored the question, stirring his chocolate milkshake nervously.
"We're happy as friends." Selena said. "Right charlie?"

Charlie took a long sip from his straw. "Right..." He said softly, lying.
Alex scoffed. "Well if you aren't gonna make a move, then I am!"

He leaned towards Selena, lips puckered.

Selena gave a little cry and squeezed her eyes shut.

Charlie thought fast. He knocked his milkshake over and it went all over Alex's shirt. Alex gasped.."are you serious!?" He yelled.

"Sorry!" Charlie said, winking at Selena. "I'm such a clutz."

Alex scowled. "That's for sure." He said. He wiped the front of his shirt off with his napkin.

"Now," he turned back to Selena. "Where were we?" As he tried to kiss her again, Charlie blurted, "Stop!"
Alex looked at him confused.
Charlie blushed. "Um, we were lying about being just friends." He laughed nervously. He grabbed Selena's hand.

She noticed his palms were sweaty.
Alex blinked, mouth in a straight line. Then, suddenly, he grinned. "Sweet! The nerd lands himself a win!" He said. "Now let me see it!"

Charlie was confused. "See what?' he asked.

Alex rolled his eyes and laughed. "The kiss!" He said, as if it should've been obvious.

Charlie and Selena turned bright red.
"Unless you're lying about lying about being just friends." Alex said, frowning.

"No, no." Charlie said. "It's for real!"
He gave Selena a look that said, 'sorry'. Selena gave him a understanding smile in return.
"Well, kiss!" Alex cried.
All the commotion had drawn up quite a crowd. They were all chanting ''KISS KISS KISS!''

Charlie grabbed Selena's chin and kissed her. Selena grabbed the back of his head and pulled him closer. The crowd was cheering. They kissed for a solid five minutes then a 15-year-old Shawn Mendes pushed through the crowd. He whistled.

"You go Charlie!" He cried.
At the sound of his voice, charlie broke the kiss.

The crowd 'awwwwed' and vanished quickly, leaving a bright red Charlie, a blushing Selena, and a still smiling Shawn.

Charlie helped Selena down from the booth.

"Okay, well um I gotta go! Bye!" She said. "Bye..." Charlie said. And with that, she walked out the door.

As soon as she was gone, Shawn jumped up and down. "Man!" He cried. "That was awesome!"

Charlie smiled, cheeks still burning.
"Yeah," he said.

"I guess it was."
