Doll

I'd like to be small
   I'd like to have porcelain
   skin,
And have it as soft as silk.
   I'd like bluer eyes,
   blonder hair,
Softer curves.

   I think I'd like to be a
   doll.

I'd like to have thin little fingers,
   And thighs that don't
   touch.
I'd like to have hipbones,
   Ribs and collarbones to
   show off.
I'd like a thin little face, a thin little waist.
   Thin little feet and a
   flat, tight tummy.

      I think I'd like to be a
      doll.

I'd like to have a big doll house, just for me.
I'd like to be played with by a little girl,
‎have the perfect life she envisions for
   ‎me.
I'd like to sit on a shelf when she's done, smiling down at her from somewhere she can't reach.
   I'd be little,
   ‎   And perfect,
   ‎       And unfeeling.

I think I'd like to be a doll.
